Dear aviation, Air Canada and Full Flight fans,
today I am proud to present to you my latest long-haul catch. I will take you onboard flight AC871 from Paris, Charles de Gaulle in France to Montreal Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Canada.
Air Canada Information:
Air Canada is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Canada by fleet size and passengers carried. The airline, founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for passengers and cargo to 207 destinations worldwide. It is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Air Canada's corporate headquarters are in Montreal, Quebec, while its largest hub is at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline's regional service is Air Canada Express.
Canada's national airline originated from the Canadian federal government's 1936 creation of Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA), which began operating its first transcontinental flight routes in 1938. In 1965, TCA was renamed Air Canada following government approval. After the deregulation of the Canadian airline market in the 1980s, the airline was privatized in 1988. On 4 January 2000, Air Canada acquired its largest rival, Canadian Airlines. In 2003, the airline filed for bankruptcy protection and in the following year emerged and reorganized under the holding company ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. In 2017, Air Canada flew 48 million passengers, as the airline celebrated its 80th anniversary.
Air Canada has a fleet of Airbus A330, Boeing 767, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787 Dreamliner wide-body aircraft on long-haul routes and uses the Airbus A320 family aircraft (including the A319, A320, and A321 variants), Boeing 737 MAX 8, and Embraer E190 family aircraft on short-haul routes. The carrier's operating divisions include Air Canada Cargo, Air Canada Express, Air Canada Jetz (private jet charters), and Air Canada Rouge (leisure airline). Its subsidiary, Air Canada Vacations, provides vacation packages to over 90 destinations. Together with its regional partners, the airline operates on average more than 1,602 scheduled flights daily.

I think it is better to look that up in search engines like Google Flights. It gives more precise information on duration and price. :-)

What is the crushing altitude and air speed?
@nolde10
@nolde10 4 жыл бұрын
Cruising altitude is about 35000ft airspeed around 880km/h in that direction of travel. In the opposite direction (west to east) it is usually faster due to the Jetstream.

@@nolde10 Could you please tell me where it says this, and is it spoken by the flight attendants? I'm totally blind, and I've been searching for that for text, and it's not in the description. I did read it in the comments, but if it's only depicted in the video, I wouldn't be able to read it. I was just glad to have located it from the comments section. Our screen-reading software is text-to-speech software, so it recognizes text that's typed. I thought it was a B787 at first which sounds so much like the B777300. I also use the keyboard to navigate around the screen, so I wouldn't know if the text is on the left or right side of the screen, because everything's laid out in frames, collumns and windows. I never even heard any announcements at the beginning of the video which is something I'm not used to.

@@heatherstub It says so in the very beginning. In the intro :-) It is written there in text however.

I'm sure that your video quality is good, but I wonder if you could improve the audio quality by recording everything in true stereo? It's much better for the ears, because the sound isn't directed toward the top of your head in the vestibuler nerve which is where everything vibrates. I've also noticed a huge difference in the distribution of the audio, especially when the flight attendants speak over the public address system. I took my headphones off to hear her talking, but I couldn't catch every word, and I've had my hearing tested, and it's excellent. You can hear all the frequencies much more easily that way too. Could you please upgrade the audio quality? I know the GoPro Hero 7 black is supposed to have a stereoo microphone, and from what I've heard, it's a very nice improvement, and yes, it preserves everyone's hearing so much more. Thank you so much for what you do. It means a lot.
