To anyone wondering if NF asked Hopsin not to cuss this is the answer. The answer to that is no. NF didn’t ask Hopsin to not cuss. He said in his live video that he (Hopsin) didn’t want to ruin NF’s legacy by cussing on his song. So he wrote the rap with no cuss words and also thought that it was actually really good and even questioned if cussing was really necessary to create a good music.

Something that caught my attention is how Hopsin speak of hoping that the book of james will add his testament, referencing how the Book speaks on the power of the tongue and spoken words being declared, how we can bless and curse whether directly or indirectly. This had some call backs to Paid My Dues, got me thinking about the end of the song where NF's writing LOST on a note. These are two of the most criticized artist out there, that are constantly treated as if they haven't paid their dues in the hip hop world. @@BADDABER good question. The answer to that is no. NF didn’t ask Hopsin to not cuss. He said in his live video that he (Hopsin) didn’t want to ruin NF’s legacy by cussing on his song. So he wrote the rap with no cuss words and also thought that it was actually really good and even questioned if cussing was really necessary to create a good music.
