I honestly LOVED these A Classes. The engineering that went into it was insane and that sandwich platform was way ahead of its time. It's basically perfect for an electric car since the space cam house batteries. Plus it was spacious and actually drove very well.

my opinion, but only mine,because i am driving turbo diesels all the time. You dont have to downshift for example in 3rd or 4th when you are going 100 km/h, 5th gear will pull just fine maybe even better. also redlining a turbo diesel is just a waste of engine and power. I know someone will say different, but i think i am correct. also 4k shifts in hardcpre run is just enough. My turbo diesel wheicles: 2000 Mercedes c220 cdi manual, 2006 volvo xc90 d5 manual, volvo v40 1.9 td (101 ps), manual, wv caddy 2.0 tdi manual.

I got to 134 mph (GPS) in my W169 downhill. Was honestly no different than doing it in a C class or similar. Steering weights up, dampers firm up and it just feels solid. It's 2mm shorter than the current Ford KA but manages to behave like a big Mercedes

@@korabmataj7456 with engine i never hed a problem. just EGR cleaning and changing glow plugs + coolant thermostat. my engine factory is without particular filter but with 2 catalyst. so it's the best option.

​@korabmataj7456 honestly I have one it's on 320 000km and has zero issues. Regular service. I recently had an issue with the EGR valve but after cleaning it everything was fine. Engine never opened. I'd say the weak point on the manual versions is the clutch and gearbox is solid. I replaced the clutch twice but with my high mileage I don't mind. One was replaced at 200k km and now I have one just replaced at 319 000km.

Ich fahre selber einen 180 CDI. Kein schlechtes Auto, was den Fahrkomfort bis 130/140 km anbetrifft. Darüber wird er unruhig, läuft jeder Bodenrille hinterher und wird in Kurven unruhig. Die 250 Nm Drehmoment reichen völlig um zügig zu beschleunigen und auf der Autobahn im 6. Gang zu bleiben. Verbrauch um die 6l/100km. Insgesamt ein feines Auto mit Diesel, mal sehen, wann die Spassbremsen von der DUH und andere Ökosozialisten diese Spezies von Auto verbieten.
