They don’t rap about this or sound like this anymore. It’s so sad RIP the 90’s best era of rap and shame on all of the rappers that started in the 90’s and changed their style after 2000 - what a shame

@BLACK HEART I dont know...you tell me?
@DDIISSEE4 жыл бұрын
@BLACK HEART Well this album came out in 94...so this album not blowing up or anything had little to do with him sounding west coast or not, as at this time frame the West Coast sound was running everything. That was just the nature of most East Bay independent artists at the time. A lot of P's 'New Orleans' shit wasn't really all that New Orleans to begin with...he never really sounded like anyone else coming from there and had a very west coast influenced sound...albums like Iceream Man and Ghetto Dope and Da Last Don when he started getting notoriety, being an example. By the time the late 90s rolled around the broader styles were changing but P had already gotten notoriety off of his West Coast bay influenced shit by the time that happened. the whole south was imitating West Coast street culture and music in the 90s as well...so...yeah. I don't really agree...but you can have your opinion. I'd also caution attributing 'good music' with music that manages to 'blow up'...as that is rarely always the case...especially now.
@DDIISSEE4 жыл бұрын
@BLACK HEART Also..P started to sound way too much like 2pac on his later shit haha
@DDIISSEE4 жыл бұрын
@BLACK HEART I didn't say anything about where 2pac was from. I said that master P started to try and sound like that fool in his raps. I think 2pac was goofy as fuck and got himself shot up trying to get involved in LA Gangbanging shit. Stupid...
