I really like the bags you were using on that system as well. I just ordered my rack this morning. Looking forward to it.

looks like the bolts that mount the side plates to the bike are accessible through the plate. Is that true? Would make them really easy to remove when not in use.

Yes they line out perfect! So super easy

@@JaxsRacingGarage Thanks, Nomad seems to suggest these are more of a support for a base not as a direct attachment for the bags. How much weight do you feel that could handle the way you have them?

I think I can lift the bike with these. I am not crashed with them yet, but in case of a crash the bolts and brackets bent a bit so that your frame will not be trashed. With that information I think you can carry a lot of different bags directly mounted. But when you are running very heavy bags I believe pannier racks are still required. They are designes for the rackless Mosko bags to protect your fairings on all kind of different bikes. I use them to bring the weight forward for offroad riding and mount smaller 6 Liter bags.

When the weather is better here, I will mount a couple of different bags, lay the bike down and see what it can handle and how strong it is 👌🏻

The bolts are indeed accessible through the plate see 3:23

How robust are the racks if the bike tips over?
@JaxsRacingGarage9 ай бұрын
I've laid down the bike a couple of times. And in combination with the lower tanks and AXP skidplate, the rack nearly reaches the ground. I know that they are designed to break in a crash to safe your frame and mounting points. They feel very robust. But I did not used them for heavy offroading
