Is smooth shading bad to use if you want to 3D print?
@ArtChahur Жыл бұрын
Hi. smooth shading does not affect the model and its polygons. It is a variant of displaying the model on the screen. So that you can see the model smoothed on the screen, but in fact it is not smoothed. smooth shading - I usually turn it off when working. I turn it on sometimes - when I want to render a model.

Have you been printed 3d model that you sculpted from nomad?
@ArtChahur Жыл бұрын
No, I do not print the models myself. After Nomad I send the model on PC to the program "Materialise Magics" - in this program I prepare the model for 3D printing and correct errors.@@konyik6667

Hello I really need help. Whenever I watch a tutorial and they click on the object to color it, the object simultaneously changes the color (without having to hit paint or force paint, like in 2:40). Why doesn’t it work for me? I always need to hit paint or nothing changes. I really wanna see it directly on the object without hitting paint every time. I hope someone can help 😢

Hi! I have a video tablet (Huion Pen Display KAMVAS 20, Upgrade of GT-191 Digital Graphics Drawing Tablet Monitor with 19.5 Inch HD Screen 8192 Pen Pressure) that is not touch capable but does work with a stylus. When you're working in Nomad and creating a model do you find yourself using touch capacity more to move your model around? What I'd like to know before purchasing Nomad, if my tablet would be good enough to use Nomad efficiently in order to create models even though my tablet doesn't have touch capabilities?

Hi! Nomad Sculpt is indeed a fantastic 3D sculpting app, but it's important to note that it runs on Android and iOS devices, such as tablets and smartphones. Unfortunately, it's not compatible with Windows or macOS computers. Regarding your Huion Pen Display KAMVAS 20, which is designed to be connected to Windows or macOS computers, you won't be able to use it directly with Nomad Sculpt. However, you can definitely explore 3D sculpting on your tablet by trying out other software like Blender, which is available for Windows and macOS and offers robust 3D modeling and sculpting capabilities.

@@ArtChahur Hi again. Was wondering and couldn't really find anyone on KZbin using or talking about using a trackball mouse in combination with Nomad. But would you know if maybe configuring the settings in Nomad, were somehow adjusted to work so it's compatible or if even a trackball mouse would be plug and play right out the box with Nomad? I would really like to know this as I'm really hoping I could use it with the Nomad WebAssembly they have free to use online. That way, once I'm familiar with using Nomad with my tablet (I also have a small huion tablet), I could then know for sure before making a purchase for both, a trackball mouse and Nomad to use with my Huion Kamvas tablet. The thing with Nomad is that I really like the simplicity of navigating through that user interface rather than the other more complex software's like zbrush or even blender. I've looked into blender tutorials and blender to me is also a little too overwhelming to get into using it I would think.

Judging by the settings, Nomad sculpt supports mouse input. But what's the point? It's inconvenient to sculpt with a mouse. It's best to use a stylus. Besides, I still don't understand how you want to run "Nomad sculpt" on your computer. Do you want to use an android emulator on your PC? I honestly don't know if it will work.@@Triad3DStudio

@@ArtChahur I won't be using a mouse to create models that's just silly, but I have tried, lol. But I will be using a trackball mouse to use to orbit around creating models in combination with my tablet and yes the emulator does work and that is why I'm looking to find out if a trackball mouse would work in this scenario as the only thing missing in getting Nomad to work in combination with my tablet is having to move the model around in 3D space.
