Florida has same rule about using shave brushes but as in most states that applies to "Animal Hair" brushes. That is why I use synthetic shaving brushes. You clean them in same manner as you would a hair brush. Wash with soap & water then rinse. Then insert into a 16 oz glass (or Mason jar) filled with "Ship-Shape Brush Cleaner" (made by King Research, makers of Barbiside) for 10 minutes. Next rinse and put into Barbiside jar for 10 minutes. That's it! I have three (3) synthetic shaving Brushes ( two - 24 mm and one - 30 mm). Ebay has the 24 mm brushes Maggard Razors - Purple 24mm Synthetic Brush for $13.99/ea + FREE shipping and the 30 mm brush: Maggard Razors 30mm Black & White Synthetic Brush $21.95 + FREE Shipping. Maggard is a proven name in the WSB (Wet Shaving Barber) world and their products are consistently GREAT performers so don't waste time/money on cheap imitations. The 24mm is mostly used in the face and neck regions. However the 30 mm is used when doing a head shave as it allows for better surface coverage.
