Nice video! (as always) I don't think the shadows are dancing, I think they are crying. It looks like they're wiping off their tears, which actually makes sense to me because they are standing around Yorda at the end, end when you come closer, they are crouching down, looking at her and touching her, until they notice you and get up. I think the shadows are a mirror of Ico's feelings, becuase they are all identical to Ico (at least at the end of the game). They remind me of the ones in SotC too, because at the end, you can see, that there is always one shadow moving the same way Wander does, after he got stabbed. Another example is the moment when Wander was shot by the soldiers. If you look closely you can see, that one of the shadow was holding his leg in pain. Just my thoughts ^^ I hope you understand them, because my english is pretty bad :)

This game's so polished even places you wouldn't be able to get to by normal means (like the inside of Yorda's cage as it's hanging) have the appropriate collision and sound.

Pretty cool stuff. Who knew so much content was hidden in this gem. I remember, in the issue 51 demo disc for OPM, they had a little video for Ico. And one of the things that always stood out was how the Shadows were apparently HUGE at one point. I'm not sure if that was just a mistake and a piece of footage with something unintended had slipped in, or if maybe the Shadowmen were meant to get bigger at some point. Would have been pretty nifty, and kind of scary if they were able to get somewhat colossal in size.

I remember the demo for PS2 and that I was blown away by the water graphics. Playing it atm again to get the platin trophy. Still amazes me (beside the PS1 like controls). I just love Ueda games and to show my respect I wanna get the platin. Got it in SotC and TLG, so Ico is the last one for now. Hope we don't need to wait another 8 years for his next project.

Wow, I didn't know Yorda replied to Ico's calls, that's cute! And, oh man! So many things that could make Yorda playable... her deaths by falling, her swimming, her animations... It sucks that only after the Japanese and PAL versions did she become playable, and only by the second player. I wish there was a way you could switch gameplay during the game so as to experience things a little bit different, that would've been nice.

Just had a new theory on the storyline for TLG! So, I think that ether the dog bird cat thing is the last alive Collosus or they are trying to rescue the last Collosus, as each Collosi is a "Guardian" and so the "last Guardian" could be the last Collosi.

Wow, I did not know that Yorda had animations for swimming. Nice. I played it in coop with my little cousin but I don't remember it was possible to get her into the water. Not even when controlling her.

No need to worry - I'm still here ; ) I'm working on my next upload which will be a recap and update about the discarded colossi, but I'm waiting on some info so it might take a little longer than expected. As long as I have anything to show I will upload something, but how many future videos there will be in hard to say.

Hey nomad, Welcome back, and awesome video, as always! i'd really never saw that in the final version, ( about the spiders or Yorda swimming ) I have an question for you: If you can, please answer!! Have you find another SOTC Demo around here? Well, I think i know one, and I hope you can read this, SOTC Literally was my first PS2 game ever played, but it was an demo disk called "Jampack vol.13" which normally came with the console. in that disk, you can play ten games, but the first one in the list was SOTC. Unfortunately, You only can defeat valus, when you try to go in another places, the game crashes.and you have to restart your console to play it again. (When I met codebreaker, I was young and I'd really know nothing about it. but it actually has cheats for "Jampack vol.13" I guess this still sell in somewhere, I found it on amazon recently. www.amazon.com/Jampack-Demo-Disk-Volume-13-PlayStation/dp/B000AGCUSO I can't find it anywhere on internet, but my pc probably can't run, A long time ago I've found in Unseen64 site. but idk if the site is still on-line anymore.

Riku7kun Thanks, I have that disc. There were three demos released for the game and in all you can only fight the first colossus, but there was an earlier demo that let you fight the first three that wasn't released to the public... that's the one I want! Don't expect I will ever see it though.

Do you mean the temple structure? If so, yes I have walked on it but it was only meant for show it seems - doesn't lead anywhere. You can only access it via hacking which means it is just a nice facade to add more mystery to the arena! Velken Iakov The Grox Commander Of course! On my 46 inch 3D television (no less). Got all the trophies etc. Took a while to take out #3 in hard mode but I got there in the end (with 45 seconds to spare). The game looks superb in 3D.

Deepthinker109 Well, it doesn't look very promising... the fact that they let it lapse doesn't bode well for the game. Almost as if they couldn't be bothered if the title was secure or not. Just another nail in the coffin it would seem.
