Are the older children too young to go to school? An idea: buy the children coloring & puzzle books to keep them occupied and out of adult business. A firm "Go play, not here" when adults are talking. A firm "NO" when a child goes on a tantrum. Don't pamper & let them have their way just to keep them quiet. Spoiling leads to bigger problems later. (More then likely, Iran doesn't have Parenting classes.) I suspect the little boy is a carrier of adult conversations; (i.e=Grandma). Akram's brother is a real asset to the work that has to be done!! He'll be deeply missed, should he decide to leave. Getting an education means a much better lifestyle than the nomad lifestyle. He'll move on...

Just curious - why are they building a fountain when the house needs to be finished? The debris on the floor could be removed, leveled and cement poured. I believe they are waiting on the roof beams. So go on to the floor. Didn’t Akrams father say that Ali should stay home and work on the construction of the house? Seems like they’re using grandfathers money card foolishly. Out of respect for what the grandparents did for his family, he should have shown respect to them by having some of the work done. This could be why the grandmother is unhappy.
