we have that toilet upgrade on our list, so we appreciate the info on install and the adapter! We are about to change out our house toilets and will have a couple of extra soft close lids that came with the new toilets. So one will go in the RV on that new toilet. *PLEASE send the rain to Texas!!

Hi Eric and Kitty Cats, Here I am in the heat of Arizona 110 outside and I gotta tell you that rain and puddles of water and the greenery around you looks so good! So what about a road trip over to Sequim and Port Angela’s. I’ve heard it isn’t as rainy in that part of the state. You could take Black Betty for a ride to Neah Bay and find the marker for the most northern part of the USA and then take the ferry over to Victoria. Still waiting for one of your songs Eric come on man you need to do this! Lol!

I love seeing how you can laugh at the rain in the Pacific Northwest, Eric. It’s much more tolerable, I think, when it’s cooler. I wonder whether, because you are a Washington native, that it just doesn’t bother you as much there as it does in places like St. Louis. Just saying, I did suggest the smart car precisely because you were going to be in the Pacific Northwest. But I used to ride a bike with a full rain suit when I lived in Oregon, and it’s actually kind of fun. With a full face helmet and fairing , you feel really insulated from the rain. The only problem is the motorcycle gets kind of muddy, but I’d just hose it off when I got back. Still more fun than the car.

Had that same lame thetford toilet in our trailer. Hated it! It was better to shut the lid and then flush so our face wasn't practically inside the bowl when flushing. Whoever designed that should be forced to use it and clean it!

You can cuff your rain pants to the inside and they won't fill with rain as it runs down your pant legs. Invert and roll prior to putting them on.

Years ago, my mom suggested something really helpful with rv toilet flushing… before doing “your business”, place a god sized “V” or “X” of toilet paper over the bottom of the toilet/over the hole. It really helps with the amount of water needed to clean the bowl, as the solids are flushed away sitting on top of the paper, instead of “sticking” to the rv toilet bowl. My parents had a chemical toilet in an old Aristocrat trailer, so conserving water and black tank space was necessary. Sorry for the descriptive words, but this process really WORKS.

Nice toilet add (again). We changed out to the 320 model a few years ago too. I meant to add this comment earlier on your portable ac unit. You want the intake hose to go to the floor, inside the RV, that will recirculate the cooler air inside. Let the hot air exhaust to the outside. Much more efficient. It is hot here in Texas, miss the NW, but price of diesel is keeping us in the middle of the country. Another strange year, again. Our cat says hi to yours.

Frogg Toggs are good but be careful sitting on the bike. The few pairs I’ve owned all tore in the crotch area. One pair tore the first time I wore them. I now wear Grundens, which still looks brand new after 3 years of monthly use. I stay absolutely dry in them.

My dude. Go over white pass. After you go through the tunnel, you 'can' stop at the store there on the right for last minute supplies. Either way, the very next right take it. You'll cross the Tieton river, take that next right, its a good graded forest road. Cool sites by the river that I am pretty sure you can get your RV to, good cell service and internet access, on the dry side, and the store. Or go to Naches for supplies. Or further. You're welcome. I camped over that way a lot when I lived in Randle east of Riffe lake to get/stay dry, lol.
