In this video, I have shared my first experience of Couchsurfing in Russia. I was hosted by a hitchhiker ( Galina ) who has crossed the whole of Europe by hitchhiking ( started from St. Petersburg and ended in Lisbon, Capital of Portugal) She is just 19 and gained a lot of incredible experiences.
Galina and her family hosted me for 2 nights, and it was a memorable experience from Couchsurfing.

I remember from this video my journey of Europe. That silent railway stations and empty trains. This may look good in video but in real life its kinda depressing especially for Indians. I have experienced it 😂 but yeah with time it may change. Having a partner is a must there if you are there for long time.

The apartments in Russia were very cold in winter (the were concrete after all), so people began using wool carpets as means of heat insulation, especially in the northern regions and the Far East.
