Yeah man, nowadays hostels are getting dicey and lot of travelers have become thiefs and steal things, esp expensive items to fund their travel and needs. Always feels very bad to have our personal items stolen, but at least the drone can be replaced. Mobiles are even more challenging as so much data, communication etc etc. Take care bro and have a safe travel.

Just be careful - it's not that you weren't aware of the dangers and was cautioned by several people. Not deliberate, but forgetting to keep your Drone etc in the locker was a mistake, not just Mexico any other country/places also it is possible. Therefore be aware never to leave your valuables. Especially in shared dormitories or shared hostels. Wish you good luck and hope the culprit gets caught
