It's good that you had some companion. Always bring 2L mineral water at least per day. It's dangerous in gobi dessert, there's no river and almost no one. If you can find a Ger that's your savior, nomads will offer you some food and place to sleep.

Dear sir, while it is good to see the adventury stuff, there is a reason Bear Grylls says not to try some stunts yourself. Nature is beautiful, stunning and absolutely mesmerizing, but it is also cruel, and unforgiving. It cannot be taken lightly. Travelling in dry desert regions makes one thirsty more often since the dry air sucks out the moisture from the body. Also with the nagging heat, one sweats a lot causing further loss of moisture while walking in the sun. It was unwise to travel that far with a limited supply of water, no back up plan and probably no way of contacting or reaching emergency services. It is really dangerous to be in such a situation. Had any calamity befallen on either of you, the other person would have been out of wits on what to do... Leave the side of there person and get help or stay and try to revive the fallen one. In both situations, lives of both are in grave danger. While I am in no position to advice on travel or safety matters, what comes to my mind is you have a great future to showcase to the entire world the joys of travel for folks who may not be able to travel and inspire many to travel. Would like to see your videos for many many years. In essence, it is really important to take adequate care and precautions while dealing with untamed nature. Best wishes and Take care.
