It's not easy buying sim card for tourist / foreigner coming to Indonesia in the small shop, first you must registered your IMEI number cellular to the official office of Telkomsel or others provider. This reason due to protect our Cellular phone industry from smugling cell from others country. And also many international card like Visa or Master credit card not accepted in many places in Indonesia, this our government policy to protect our foreign exchange reserves, and because our government has lauch the QR code digital payment system.

I think there are a few major factor of lack of cleanliness.. First is people's attitude they have lack of cleanliness and lack of civil sense.. Second centralised of municipality I think govt should decentralise the municipality.. And overconsumption and lack of recycle the garbage.. Logo ko tobacco pan masala khana hota hai or thukna road pr hota hai atleast yeh log bottle ka use kr skte hai..jaise Myanmar ke log krte hai..

My recent trip was in Feb 2024, I agree with you on the cleanliness, Indians lack the basic civic manners on cleanliness and hygiene, which starts from home to the road.
