Hello Guys,
Click here to support my channel:
bit.ly/2JoDUWb
Finally, the North Eastern trip begins. After landing in Guwahati, I decided to explore Guwahati & started searching for some places. The first thing which grabbed my attention was "Umananda Temple" on the smallest river Island in the world. I was amazed by the fact that it's the smallest river Island in the world.
Second one which grabbed my attention was " Kamakhya Temple " where people pray " Vagina " in the beginning it was weird for me, like how someone can pray Vagina, but when I went there & talked with some Babas. They have given me logical facts, basically not scientific ones but if we put logic is Mythology it can be acceptable. They told me, if we can pray cows and some other animals, why can't we pray Vagina, I said it's weird & then he replied " In this whole world every living thing comes from Vagina, It's the creator of the world & there is no shame in praying the creator. If we think logically, like any one can be God, then why can't we pray Vagina, Up to some I was accept his logic.
Let me be very clear, basically I don't believe in any religion, but it doesn't means I don't want to know about them. I'm very curious about the history of mankind & religion is very important in the history of mankind, so I'm very curious about these things & how it all started.
What's your opinion on it, Please reply it in the Comment section 😊

Hum sab Devi Jagat janni ki hi Santan he esa kaha jata he.....,. isliye shrusti ki suruàat wahi se huii esa waha k log kehte he....🙏🙏🙏

The story of origin is behind the temple quite interesting. It revolves around the Hindu gods Shiva and Sati. Legend has it that Sati fought with her husband to be part of the grand yajnathat her father was offering to appease the gods-of which both were purposefully not invited to. Paying no heed to her husband’s advice, Sati headed to the yajna nevertheless, only to be insulted by her father.The last straw was when he spoke ill of Shiva as well. Unable to bear the insult, Sati leapt into the very sacrificial fire of the yajna. When Shiva came to know of what had happened, his anger knew no limits. Carrying his wife’s burnt corpse, he went on a rampage with his ‘Tandav ‘ or the dance of destruction. While all other gods cowered in fear under Shiva’s rage, it was Vishnu who sent his chakra and cut the body, in order to calm the aggrieved deity. It is believed that Sati’s body parts fell in 108 locations across the country, which are today known as Shakti peeths. The place where her womb and vagina fell is what constitutes the Kamakhya temple. Kamakhya finds its name from the Hindu God of love, Kamadeva. As the story goes, the god had sought out Shakti’s womb and genitals after having lost virility to a curse. As a tribute to Shakti and her ability to lend back Kamadeva his potency, the deity of Kamakhya Devi was installed and continues to be worshipped until today.

In non-dualistic Vedanta, consciousness & matter are all one, the matter is the manifestation of consciousness. That "one" is Brahman (not Brahmin caste). And everything in that including us is that - "tat tvam asi". And that's why a stone, a tree, a river, a mountain, an animal and a body part can be considered "that", and that's why one's own imagination of that ("Ishta Devata") would be a God too. And since each individual can imagine bit differently, and focus on different things to worship, there can be millions & billions of Gods, but only one "Brahman". This concept is entirely different from the concept of God in Abrahamic religions.

@@MsManasi yes the name does mean Brahma's son. We call it Nad and not Nadi because the name ends with "a". Same is the case with Damodar. But how can these things enable you to find the gender of rivers? Moreover is there any Shashtra that enables us to determine the gender of a river?
@MsManasi
@MsManasi 4 жыл бұрын
@@rajansheshadhri939 there is a mythology behind it related to lord Parshuram and Brahmakund. Brahmaputra has different name in Tibet and Arunachal. Read the mythology you will know the reason why it was named so. Putra means son hence nad. Everything does not have a literal meaning it comes from mythology

@@MsManasi putra means son . Fine. Mythology has it's own important place in our lives. But it is wrong to ascribe mythological anecdotes to Shashtras. Shastra and mythology are entirely different. My question was: "which Shastra says that Brahmaputra is the only Male river?" If you know the answer please tell me. If you do not have the answer then there is no point in continuing the discussion.

Bro this time I am very disappointed with the way you have covered kamakhya temple. Let me clear you that I am not disappointed by your views on kamakhya temple which you have given in last of the video. You have have your own opinion. But you know what kamakhya temple is an enormous and one of the best tourist spot of India which is situated at the top of a hill in Guwahati city. It is also called the pride of Assam and North-East, such a wonderful place it is. Bro you are a vlogger who covered kamakhya temple but according to me you haven't covered it's any of the glory. First of all if you haven't clarified that the temple is at the top of the hill. And I understand that the camera isn't allowed at many parts of the temple. But you should share that how people use to visit inside the temple. How long the line and the traffic they have to face for visiting inside the main temple. How much times it takes for a normal people who normally chooses a general line to visit there. And what are the other ways to visit faster. There is a ticket facility for entering faster which costs 500 rupees through which one can enter into VIP line which moves very faster and there are much more such interesting things are there which you haven't covered in your video. We watch your videos to enjoy as well as to collect the informations about the places which you are covering. But this time it was very disappointing bro. Very sorry to say that.
