Please visit Day1 Sadu chiru falls and loktak lake in same day stay in loktak lake see the beauty of sunrise and Day2 visit Churachandpur where you can explorer Gailjàng resorts and khuga dam. Day 3 next day plan for Ukhrul, shirui peak and Phangrei. Day 4 plan for moreh but nothing much is there to do in moreh as there is closer of Indomyanmar Border. Day 5 plan for Mao and dzuko. Day 6 back to imphal and explorer in and around imphal like kangla, Andro.. This ll be the best trip

I have few friends from northeast. Before, I used to think they are Nepalese or chinese but that was my stupidity, I was not aware of Southeast asian looking face dominate the world population and also India is diverse country. Tips to identify Northeast people.... If you are visiting Northeast..not a big issue but in other states it becomes important because sometimes we Indians become ignorant. 1. They don't know hindi but those who speak have different accent like foreigners ( Some are really good) . Nepalese people speal well hindi. 2. Northeast India itself is a diverse region like Assamese and tripura. They look almost similar to other states. 3. Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya are Christian states. Other states are diversified by different religions such as Buddhism, Christian and Hindu. it can be easily identified.. except of assamese and some manipuri. Since others are Christian They don't put vermilion on forhead( Sindoor) and Mangalsutra. Nepalese are Hindu so If someone put on Sindoor and Mangalsutra..they are nepalese. 4. Momos are not Northeast Origin. It was Tibet Origin. 5. Northeast people have western lifestyle irrespective of their religions... Like Living standard, Dressing sense etc 6.They also have western names such as David, Johnson, Patrick etc. Nepalese have regular name like those of North, West, and central India. 7.They live, eat, laugh in group, rarely stay with other state's people. May be because they don't feel comfortable. Nepalese on other hand, can be easily seen staying with other Indians because of same culture, religions and Hindi language. There are more points but I thing these will be enough to identified them. Thanks.

Imphal is valley surrounding by hills from all sides (about 10% of manipur) ....but the neighbouring states doesnt start when u start entering the hills or just after loktak lake. And meitei community mostly resides in valley but they are not the only manipuri.There are many indigenous Tribes of manipur in hills. Anyway, hope u enjoy your journey.
