Hi Nomadic Introvert! I've only just discovered your channel and I LOVE your content and everything about you! One hint that's always helped my husband-who used to drive vehicles/trucks all over the United States; please always keep some packing blankets or 3 x 3 foot carpet scraps in your van in case your tires become stuck in mud/grass/snow, etc. You can place them under your rear tires and slowly but surely ease your way out. It can be messy, but it can also save money and maybe even your life if you're in an isolated place.

I’m in the Midwest and grasshoppers invaded our office downtown. No idea how they got inside a building but it was a challenge getting rid of them. I love how you said you had an epiphany in the desert…sounds like a line to a song. Enjoy your travels and be safe!!

You are the first person I've ever heard who shares my phobia of frogs. Inexplicably, I'm less afraid of large snakes than I am of frogs. I've been made fun of for this "irrational" fear all of my life and could never answer the "why" for the longest time. Then it finally occurred to me when I realized that I am just as fearful of butterflies that it is the uncertainty of which direction they will go next in their rapid, darting movements. One can anticipate the direction a snake will go and move in the opposite direction, but when certain creatures tend to dart and switch directions (towards you) they are more frightening to me!
