I don't think so. Iran was modern during the rule of Shah. After Islamic revolution the status of women has got deteriorated. Women enjoyed lot of freedom during the rule of Shah. Shah was pro western. Iran has become orthodox after Islamic revolution. During the rule of Shah there were night clubs, pubs and discotheques. Today they dance in their room but not in the open air.

Iran is really very beautiful and charming country beyond our imagination. Naqshe Jahan Square is mesmerizing. amazing and unspeakable. When it comes to hospitality, generosity and kindness, the people of Iran rank at the top of list. These local girls are looking very great in their Hijab, which is not a fashion or style but a religious obligation and identity of Muslim Women.
