Tour round the region Ustey Nera was quite adventurous. The cathedral, museum, memorial, frozen river and the queer airport was just amazing. You spent a night at an govt quarter. The officials and people over there were very helpful and friendly.You conversation in Russian with them is so nice. All Russians love India. So touring in -65 °C is just out of thought. You being the 1st Indian to visit as a tourist in that region is the best part. Thank you again and again for showing us these extreme remote regions of the world. You just take great initiave risk-no more words to praise you. Take very much care of health. Be safe. All good wishes

Tourvashu bhai, you are the most hardcore buy who takes a lot of risk, be it Africa or Siberia or Mongolia. Though Yakutsk (and nearby area) is coldest inhibited place, locals do get a warm house to stay in the night. But the stay in a GIR, / GEER, a nomadic temporary house and spend night where the wood an cow dung has burned off and exhausted and the inner temp and outer temp is the same is pretty extreme. What is your opinion. Being a vegetarian with only compromise to eat eggs is soo tough. I highly appreciate you. A lots of respect for travelling in extreme conditions often risking your life, be it Africa (life risk, hygiene issue, eating sand along with food and inhaling it along with air at +50 degC), cold mongolia or the coldest and he most extreme temp diff of 100 degC is an achievement in itself. Along with this journey, I would rate travelling in an Iron ore / coal train in Sahara desert (return journey) and one of the extreme travel with little or no basic facilities. You even had to unload live stock (sheeps / goats) and travelled with camels. Did you had any health issues such such extreme travel like headache, or stomach upset? Good luck and may you be in the best of your health and retain the good health.
@NomadicTour Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words. Sometimes I used to have small health issues but I try to manage. I had a fever during the first week of Africa and this trip, but then I recovered quickly. The major issue which I face during my long term travel is eating healthy food. It's really difficult and challenging to have healthy food while travelling in some extreme parts of the world! It may affect my health in the long term so I try to take care of it as much as i can. Rest everything is manageable!
@whitelotus108 Жыл бұрын
@@NomadicTour Thank you Tourvashu bhai for the reply. Right now your body and mind can take it and you may feel you can handle it, but stress accumulates over a period of time. Rest is important too. Once you cross 40 you will realise you body's response has changed a little. (I am in early 40s). It happens with all, except a few who are naturally very strong. What is more important is mental and emotional health which in turn affects physical health. Unhealthy mind may create diseases like psychosomatic disease. So relax you mind too. I am not a professional health expert but a simple breathing exercise like 3-6-3-6 or 6-6 etc (3-inhalation, 6 exhalation 3-inhalation and 6 exhalation, or 6-inhalation 6-exhalation, etc) for 5 minutes or shavasana for 15-20 minutes or watching your breath for a few minutes before bed or in morning or even while in car or bus helps refresh mind. One of my friend used to be simply be aware of the surrounding noise while travelling in local bus for 15-20 mins. HE never reacted and ignored the impulses and other thoughts. It helped him to retain focus. Awareness is a state of defocus. You are just aware but do nto focus on anything special. You are just a witness. If you are into not into spirituality and does not chant a mantra, you may try to relax each and every part of muscle from toe to head. Relax the muscles on your face, especially your forehead. Something like 'Power Nap with Andrew Johnson' might be helpful (soundcloud.com/withandrewjohnson/power-nap-with-andrew-johnson) or Auto Suggestion to relax all body muscles (indiaspirituality.blogspot.com/2009/02/autosuggestion-for-relaxation.html) or simply fill yourself from head to toe part by part with bright light kind of white light as if you are in an energy bubble. *The point is that one must be able to relax and calm down the ever thinking mind.* You can do it as you stay with nature and can stay with internet for a week. Today's kids who are more into mobile and social media find it difficult to slow down thoughts of mind. If one can't control mind, then it begins to create mental and physical issues which built over a period of time. *No matter if you believe in Ishvara or in spirituality or not, what matters is how you handle your own mind.* It will never let you drawn in depression or in low mental state. Two of the travelers Mountain Trekker and Yatri Doctor had this issue of being in low state of mind. Not trying to scare you or make you over cautious, just sharing as a well wisher, as a friend. If you find this advice useful, consider it as a return-gift from a subscriber. Apologies if I have given unasked advice. Take Care. Good Luck. Namaste
