Great video!! Awesome lady!! Always loved those American Clippers..such quality. They were ahead of their time really..with certain features nobody else had such as the "ledge" storage area above the living area that can be seen from the overhead bed..The distinctive smooth fiberglass exterior that very few had in 1978..yet after all these years...no delamination like new ones today have..How many newer Class C RV's do you see where the front overhead bed area is falling apart due to water damage? Funny how a former Tesla employee bought an RV from the age of no computerized engines!! Back when they were simple to work on!

Yeah, and it’s crazy that her Clipper is only 20ft long but it seems so spacious and roomy. My Rig is three feet longer than hers but her Rig seems like it has a lot more room than mine.

WOW! I was so excited to find this video! I have a '77 Clipper and I absolutely love it :) My 13 year old son and I moved out of our downtown Seattle apartment this past October and hit the road in our Clipper (which we named Gned Ryerson). We spent several months traveling and it was amazing. We'll be stationary for a while and I have a lot of plans for updates to it, but it really has been very well kept up. I feel very lucky to have found it. I'm currently designing my own position in a company that will allow me to travel in it frequently. I've met a few Clipper owners along the way and they all love their rig. Even at over 40 years old, no one complains about them. Surely a testament to how well they were designed! Thanks for posting :) ~Reese

Hi do you have a clipper for sale?
@davidetchellsetchells46922 ай бұрын
Clippers are cool, all the Dodge based class C rvs are awesome because they are thrifty on fuel, easy to maintain and quite comfortable, usually a good layout inside, well thought out. Its important to keep a close eye on safety equipment on these, front suspension components, tires, brakes exaust, lights etc. And always always keep the oil changed and filters changed. Keep that carb tuned and good quality distributor cap, wires and sparkplugs and ut will last a lifetime of enjoyment.

I have a 77 rear kitchen clipper like yours I got it for 100 dollars I love the history on these it was in great condition but it was stolen from me I got it back and they had left roof vents open causing water damage on the ceiling and painted the paneling white and not done good at all also rats were in there when I recovered it but I'm not giving up on her she still runs good and rest can be fixed it does make me sad tho to see how nice yours is inside I'm happy for you lol but I wish mine was still that nice inside thanks for sharing as I'm working on it now this video gave me.motivation

It never ceases to amaze me how someone living in America can buy one of these for a few hundreds or thousands and basically have a fully furnished roof over their heads. Really the land of opportunity, if this was in my country you would be robbed of everything just because everyone would love to have one, old or new because houses are fricking expensive and just having that alone would be like a dream come true. All the way from Trinidad and Tobago i'm telling you, i love these things.

FYI for older Dodge and Chrysler Possible on your firewall there is a reck tangle white thing with 4 wires on it. Another part is metal square thing with small triangle wire connector on it. Keep a spare one of each in you're gluve box. Price should be under $35.00 fore both. The 4 wire thing, white in color is a ballast resistor .,
