Another great episode. I've been single for at least 8 years now and when I dream of being a nomad I often wonder if I'd remain alone or try to find someone to travel with. You are young and have plenty of time to find that right person to fill that void so be picky but don't wait to long or you end up in your fifties like me with no children and no significant other. i've been nomadic for 20 years and it's possible to find love with someone who may not have the travel bug but it also intent on getting everything out of life that they can. this type may not understand the urge to travel but they understand that they don't have to understand 🤷‍♀️ off of the top of my head, i would say that a general thrill-seeker type is a good match for a nomad because they understand the concept of being compelled to seek out unusual activities without caring that it's not the norm.

Not sure if this is either a pro or a con, but I've learned that the reasons behind what you do are more important than what you actually do. An example: I met the last woman I dated at a coffee shop. We both tended to be there around the same time each day. I was there because of the regulars, the conversations, chess games, and overall interaction. She was there because she had coffee at 3pm everyday. It wasn't huge, but did create tension when she wanted to go to a chain coffee shop because of a coupon. The bigger issue was that it eventually developed that a number of our common interests weren't really common because of the why we did them. I think a possible pitfall is thinking that 'we're both vanlifers, we must be compatible'. A larger example would be to look at all the flavors of Christianity, all Christian but a few are very far from being compatible. Edit: Also definitions - To her a "lot" of books at home was twenty, to me a couple thousand. Gotta' nail down those definitions!

Certainly, knowing the truth about dating apps can help a LOT of people. I have the ability to see into the spirit world, etc, and have NOT found any van dwellers with that particular kind of interest, but I wouldn't want to date anyone not understanding that side of reality; or at least the Truth expressed in the book THE SECRET by Rhonda Byrne. I see you and your mom practice Yoga, but what sort of other activities, if any do you engage in?
