It's not severely limiting your team mates, it's making the maximum amount of profit that you can. Duoing Nex back in the day used to be incredibly hard but people did it, or attempted to, for bigger profit, that's the same case here.

***** Games evolve, you can't expect bosses that drop tier 70 gear to be hard as fuck to kill. But there's always GWD Hard mode so that's something and also TDS are relatively hard to lower levels.

bruh i remember beating this quest when i was level 90 something and got quest cape around level 100. was so proud, since much higher level people talked about how hard this boss fight was. haven't played rs in like 7 years or more

@zackcorpdivine This was around the time Nomad's Requiem came out, not all tactics were known. Also, his weapon is a Bandos Godsword, not a Chaotic Rapier and Divine/Elysian Spirit Shield. And in the end, Nomad's melee attacks have low accuracy so with Bandos Armour and Soul Split he could've outhealed the hits.

@0MattAttack It doesn't actually show the absorb in the blue splat, but if you have magic absorb it still lessens the damage. His max hp -1 attack should have hit a 879 on me, but with dhide it lowered it to around 750.

Tbh the only bad thing eoc brought were privileged kids that want a game to be the way THEY want it. People that weren't spoiled brats accepted the eoc and went with it (some of them moved on to oldschool but at least they didn't moan about eoc)

This guy's significant because when he was released, he brought back the fear of quest bosses like how we felt in Classic with Legend's Quest. I don't know what Jagex has planned in the future, but none of the Grandmaster Quest bosses so far have come CLOSE to de-throning Nomad!

@mrsilvid I can't speak on whether or not you are ready it depends on your stats but if you die you respawn right outside his tent so getting your stuff will not be a problem. You should have at least 80 constitution to fight him because of his hit that does 750 damage.

@watisbarrows Not quite.. He was using an iron titan. But still, he is basically a maxed out player using really high-end equipment and he was also using all sorts of good tactics. Nomad is hard. It took me 5 tries or so.

@godzilla7th He has super restore pots. It gets rid of the stat decreases, but if your health is high enough, it'll be boosted past its maximum level and the defense also remains boosted. As for what you use as food, overloads aren't food. It boosts att, str, def, ranged and increases damage dealt by mage attacks by about 40%. He also only has one overload with what looks like one dose, so it's obviously not that important to have with you. I think you'll be fine sticking to sara brews. :)

@ChrisTheSpiritOfGods My ranging level was 77 when I attempted the Nomad. You go around the pillars to heal and to block his attacks(especially his 750 lp attack). When Nomad says 'Face Me!,' you have around 8 seconds to get back at him and let him hit you. If he doesn't hit you and the time is up, he will heal completely. Watch plenty of guides on youtube to learn his moves. Void is not recommended because you need the def bonuses and absorb bonuses or else you will pretty much get destroyed.

Hmm. I was kind of expecting him to be in ROTM. See, the cutscene in Nomad's Requiem showed 3 Elite Dark fighters. When the warrior and mage were dead, the ranger bought up "their master". The Elite Dark forces work for Lucien... That aside, I also believe that we haven't seen the last of Lucien. According to Jhallan, the only surefire way to kill a mahjarrat is through the ritual, since mahjarrat can resurrect themselves. Perhaps we're beginning to see the possibilities of a future quest?

Damage Soaking with ganodermic armor and all the dung weapons have made the fight much easier than it used to be. It is still quite challenging for low levels, however.

@Jakezing No, it needs to be a "Choose your own Path" quest... Where Zamorak (or Armadyl) supporters fight Saradomin, and Saradomin (or Zaros) supporters fight Zamorak.. Armadyl/Zaros then take their previous places..

saradomin brews lower your stats so taking about 18 brews/9 super restores is a good shout, ruby bolts and kyatt are good but you might wanna use a beast of burden for extra food if you can then summon the kyatt when that runs out.

Yeah you should be able but before you do make sure you familiar's special move is set to one click and just look over your stats while nomad charges up. Make sure you are within 5-`10 levels of your cb levels.

Used your method for Nomad. I used obby rings for clones and ate everything he threw at me. Except I used some rocktails in combination with brews to get your health up faster. Also, void melee seems to work wonders on him especially with a BGS, only took me 3 tries :)

@flaimbait Wow..he was referencing the fact that if you COULD team Nomad, he'd be dropped straight on his forehead, where as you can ALREADY team Yk'Lagor, Bal'lak and other dungeoneering bosses, and lots of times teams still get dropped. Yk'Lagor the Thunderous and Bal'lak the Pummeler CRAP on Nomad.

@Hubik2Spin Here's how it works. I had a better time using the method on Branches of Darkmyre. 1 Overload, 10 Super Restores, the rest Sara Brew. And full War Tort of Sara Brews. Set left click to "Take BoB". After using overload, drink a few sips to max your HP, then a dose of Super Restore to bring stats back up to where Overload raised them.

When Nomad starts to attack fast and it's "easy" to you, that's because you have high defense and stuff. :I I've seen people with lower defense get RAPED at that last part, where his attacks were much more accurate and hit higher. So unless you're higher-leveled, it WILL be the easiest part. Either way, awesome vid. I love watching this fight... the song makes it more exciting and I've seen this vid at least six times (lol no life?). I'm gonna do this quest soon. :D

It tends to work best if you avoid the 750 hit attack... I had 10 tries, (im not maxed out). The only time I beat him, was when I hid behind pillars to avoid 750 dmg attack, and ranged him before he charged it.

@purpleleach1 Just use 2 familiars summon beast of burden before going on (terrorbird or better) fill with supplies empty familiar early then dismiss it. Summon combat familuar so it dose damage to makes it very possible at 111 combat.

My friend Mr Cammybear beat him twice in row at Dom Tower (while I filmed). Seems you don't use the pillars at all. Just stay in same spot entire match. And I was using Overloads, Sara Brews, Extreme Range Pots, Pray Pots - then learned Super Restores not only fill stats to normal but ALSO restore prayer... ;)
