Nominations must meet the following criteria:
 Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria.
Great place for exploration.
Great place to exercise.
Great place to socialize with other people.
Must be a physical, tangible, and permanently identifiable place or object, or an object that marks an area.
 Must be safe and accessible to pedestrians (indoor or outdoor).
 Must contain accurate information in the title, description and photos.

Natural signs
Unusual or unique local shop
Parks and squares
