Copper is a reactive material and forms quick oxide on surface, this saves it from damage and is also good for consumption through. Buy genuine traditional copper bottles or copper lota. Do not use soap scrubber or any acidic product. You can use lemon at the most.

All chemicals including pitambari are good for bringing shine. They should not be used on utensils used for storing or serving food. Copper will oxidise in very small quantity by default. This rust is very stubborn and will not allow further decay of copper. This preserves metal as well as doesn't make water or food poisonous. So, use very less chemicals on copper or brass utensils

Lacquer coating is done only from outside and not inside the copper bottle hence maintaining the main benefits of Copper. Both ways I mean coated or uncoated main thing is that you should use copper bottle or copper vessels in daily use 😊👍

Adding a piece of copper plate folded into water purifier tank in house is the best option other than this. Handling copper is hard and easy to dent them

I have discussed this with my family Aurvedacharya and he suggest not to use water purifier for a reason that it removes all good and bad bacteria from water... Instead when you use copper pot for storage, all dead bodies of these bacteria remains inside water which is useful as per him.. So this solution is not recommended or useful. Again this is my personal opinion based on my study and dissertations with Aurvedacharya You may like to try your own ways to get healthier life 😊🙋

I am not so sure about buying a Milton since mostly they import from China and market under their brand name 🤔 Instead I would suggest Prestige, which is made in India and the model which I am suggesting here has got different cap design which is good amzn.to/3wV1e3k

@@kaibalyaprasadkhatoi9322 When I did my review on vacuum flasks I realized that most famous Milton and Cello both brands do not manufacture vacuum flasks in India but import from China and market under their brand name. When I bought copper bottles for this review I tried to see country of origin for Milton copper bottle, but they have pasted a sticker on box, hence I am not able to determine country of origin. So from past conformation from vacuum flask I assume that they are only marketing. Being an Indian 🇮🇳 I prefer and always proud to use Made in India products. So since I have doubt about this bottle I am hesitating to recommend it. Of course this is my personal opinion and you may plz go ahead to buy what you personally feel the best.

Lacquer coating is done on outside surface to protect the aesthetics and not from inside, so no issues.

These methods can damage the copper and potentially leave behind harmful residues. 1) Natural Method (for light lacquer): This method involves using a natural cleaning agent - citric acid. Here's what you'll need: - Citric acid powder (easily available online or grocery stores) - Hot water Instructions: 1. Make a Citric Acid Solution: Fill your copper bottle with hot water (almost boiling). Add 1-2 tablespoons of citric acid powder to the hot water. 2. Soak and Swirl: Let the solution sit in the bottle for 1-2 hours. Occasionally swirl the bottle to ensure even contact of the solution with the inner surface. 3. Cleaning and Rinsing: After soaking, empty the solution and rinse the bottle thoroughly with hot water. You can use a soft bottle brush to gently scrub the inner surface, especially around the dents. 4. Repeat if Necessary: If the coating hasn't completely removed, repeat the soaking process with a fresh citric acid solution. 2) Use Paint remover amzn.to/3JTGt0K This method is risky compared to method no.1 - Once you've successfully removed the lacquer coating, it's recommended to season your copper bottle. This involves filling it with a mixture of lemon juice and water for a few hours. This helps to remove any residual cleaning agents and prepare the copper for use. Thank you very much for your advice. I’m still trying to track down the Citric acid powder as you mentioned. They don’t seem to sell that in the country I currently live in, which is crazy because I researched the counties it comes from and this is one of them. It must be for export only. Here's what to keep in mind: Concentration: - Check the concentration: Liquid citric acid solutions come in various concentrations. Look for a solution with a concentration between 50% and 10% (like lemon juice which is around 5%). More concentrated solutions require dilution with water. - Dilution: If the concentration is higher than 10%, dilute it with an equal part of water to create a milder solution suitable for cleaning your bottle. Application: - Follow the same steps as mentioned for citric acid powder: - Fill the bottle with hot water (almost boiling). - Add the diluted citric acid solution (around 1-2 tablespoons for a 500 ml bottle, adjust based on concentration and bottle size). - Let the solution sit for 1-2 hours, occasionally swirling the bottle. - Empty the solution and rinse thoroughly with hot water. - You can use a soft bottle brush to gently scrub the inner surface, especially around the dents. - Repeat if necessary. Safety Precautions: - Citric acid, even in diluted solutions, can be slightly irritating to the skin and eyes. Wear gloves and eye protection while handling the solution. - Ensure proper ventilation while using citric acid. - Test in a small area: Before applying the solution to the entire bottle, test it on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure it doesn't cause any discoloration or damage to the copper.

There is no copper vaccum insulted bottle. This is due to the strength limitation of copper, its ductility cannot sustain vaccum pressures

My recommendation 1) Prestige Tattwa model with different cap design copper bottle model which is a good choice amzn.to/3wV1e3k 2) You can also go for Divine Copper bottle here amzn.to/3eaZeNt But remember any copper water bottle will show black rust from inside since lacquer coating is done only from outside aesthetic surface. Rusting from inside is perfectly fine, you just need to clean it properly once a week
