One thing abt Mamamoo is their Live performance are ALWAYS better than the records. They thrived in live performances. Seeing them in person is always worth every penny and effort.

Live performances at awards ceremonies are iconic, specially at MAMA. Their "immortal song medley" and the Dingo "Killing voice" are outstanding vocal performances. On tv show they use to call them "the group that never disapoint" because when Mamamoo steps on stage, everyone knows that it will be good. They are born performers. They also all have a solo career each in their own style.

YES Their Immortal Song Medley just about covers all their vocal ability from soft, delicate phrases to harmonizing, full-out chest and mix belts (aside from Moonbyul 😢 but damn, those poetic raps). It was even set in the middle of their concert, hours into performing, yet their vocal cords weren't tired at all. Iron pipes. They all have them. OFC they still paid attention to audience engagement like the performance queens they are. (For the medley their dance moves were funny to watch-basically just a workout-because the moves were from the original songs; Immortal Songs are covers for a TV show competition that idols are rarely invited to, yet Mamamoo was invited over a dozen times.)

They broke the boundary of idols and hence considered as artists by veteran musicians in the industry. Singers, songwriters, composers and rappers in a single group. Also their music is very inspiring & empowering, writing & singing songs about self love, social media hate...I just love them so much.

I love how each of them shines in their own way on stage but together it all balances out beautifully. As jyp once said, "it's like four artists collaborating together". You can perfectly see the colors of each one and that's amazing, the four of them were born for the stage and they always know how to control the audience. If you want to know more about them I highly recommend the songs Wind Flower, My star, Bad bye, Funky boy, Freaking shoes, I miss you, Egotistic and You're the best. The four of them also have their solo careers and Solar and Moonbyul created a subunit called Mamamoo+ recently, I highly recommend the songs GGBB and Chico malo ♡

I highly recommend the Immortal Songs Medley and the Dingo Killing Voice performances. They are different medleys of songs, the first covers of others' songs, the second short versions of their own songs. For specific songs, it's actually easier to recommend songs to skip because they are just THAT good. My personal favorites: Decalcomanie, Destiny, Gloomy Coincidence, No More Drama, Hip, and the 2021 versions of Ahh Oop, Um Oh Ah Yeh, You're the Best, Starry Night, and Paint Me. For fun and silly, check out the stage versions of Waggy, a love song to their pets.

I am a 1 year old moomoo, the mamamoo fans name. As for me, I fall in love with moonbyul in Amazing Saturday (variety show) first. Seeing her fargirling mode, I think shes cute like totally opposite from what I heard abt them before (the girl crush/tough girl concept). And maybe its fate, after that I stumbled upon their clip on another variety show Life Bar (available in english in YT). From this I fall for the group. From 1 video brought me to another video, their performance of Decalcomanie at awards show. Their adlib makes me think, they are so cool and amazing and creative and unique. They are like 4 individual/soloist being put into one group. So if you want to hear more vocal from them, as new moo I suggest the I Miss You performance from Queendom. For performance and vocal, you should watch their Immortal Songs performance. Warn you, when you watch 1 ep you will end up watching all 13 performance. Thats how amazing they are. And about what songs of them to listen to, they have HUGE discography. Please take time to listen to all 😘 But I bet, since you had listen to them LIVE, you will feel all their live performance video are not enough. As much as all the videos are incredibly amazing, but their live LIVE vocal are like lifetime event you should be grateful for 🫠 pss if you want to know them characteristics, please watch their 3 meals a day special on their mamamoo channel. They are so soft when together 🥺

I actually didn't mind :) I was originally there for stray kids and I could see them perfectly, sometimes they didn't focus on the members and have good camera angles but I didn't mind over-all :')
