How its portraited here, that the nightmare for the main character didnt end with the tragic event, but continued and grew with her reaching for the help of her parents, who by their reaction escalated it and made it even more traumatic is just...This work is incredibly done.

It's very sad and accurate that many people are against pedophilia but never stand up for the kids when they see this happening in person. Even in public spaces, and if they do care, they just stand, and choose to ignore what's happening. It's a very sad and scary thing that could happen to anyone, what's more scarier than a predator, are the people not choosing to stop them when they see this happening.

The crowd effect (or whatever it's called) is very scary. You'd think you'd be safe when there are so many people to witness what's going on, but it's actually more dangerous with more people present. People will shove off the responsibility of interfering to the next person, because since everyone sees it surely you don't have to be the person to act. There was one person (paid actor for social experiment, but it was still quite real) who was literally prone against a wall begging for help. People quite literally stepped over him and some people were shown looking but nobody even so much as checked up on him, and they treat the experiment for hours. With something even more subtle as kidnapping or grooming kids, it's no wonder so many victims go so unnoticed. My heart goes out to so many people who have suffered..

When I told my grandmother and mother about what my older brother had done to me, they ignored it, he repeated it every year for several years. I cry every time I have to go to the shower. This animation is beautiful and touched me to the soul, the transmission of emotions and the fear of telling the elders is conveyed very well, thank you for it.

I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like what my aunt has suffered from my father. Realising what he had done to another broke open my own memories of him violating and tormenting me. I was also ignored sadly. It's tragic but for me it was important to cut all contact with my.family. also those who where passive and indirectly let it happen without intervening. I needed to leave all of them behind since I felt so betrayed and left behind. Nowadays I have begun specific therapy and have finally found validating friends. I wish for you to things getting better, too.

i am a victim, multiple times went through such things, i dont cry easily but this animation managed to make me cry, this is really really well made oh my god i feel chills going through my whole body, ive watched this 2 times, the representation, the symbolisms, everything is so on point, it really shows how terrifying it can be and other things, im not sure how to word whatever is going through my mind right now because this really brang up something in me, but i am so so very glad for this animation, it spreads awareness in a good way and it really explains those situations really well, thank you so much for making this :(

This hit very hard. We might dissociate for a bit. Everything about this is felt. Even when the mind takes the memories through dissociative amnesia. Never truly is that forgotten. People in my demographics are often abuse survivors of that kind. It’s a beautiful animation. It hurts to see how real this is. So many children. And then when we grow up, we’re accused of being the demons. Completely Helpless. Only ones who will help, are people who have been through.

Это сильная анимация, мне нравится то, как авторы посредством образов показали безразличие, трусость, и зло людей, изображая их в виде черных, не имеющих определенной формы фигур, некоторым проще растечься и уйти в свой мир, не обращая внимание на то, что происходит вокруг них, некоторые своим силуэтом вызывают неподдельный страх. То, с чем столкнулась девушка, очень травматично, но она приняла это в себе и продолжила жить дальше, птица с красным хвостом становится олицетворением этого. Страшнее всего то, что никто, кроме самой девушки, пережившей насилие(со стороны семьи и насильника), не ринулся помочь мальчишке, неизвестно, что могло постигнуть его.. Создателям респект

Ohhh now! I understand what is meant by "she/he was robbed of her/his childhood" It means that when an adult violates a child they rob the child's reality and ability to see other people as good, everyone suddenly becomes just as evil as the one who attacked them. So starke Bilder, so ein starker Kurzfilm! Ich fühle das gezeigte mit jeder Pore meines Körpers. Das Nein am Ende ist stark, verhallt leider aber viel zu schnell. Ich wünschte, dass in Schulen, in Kindergärten, in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und im ganzen Land eine Aufklärungskampagne mit genau diesem Film gemacht werden würde.

Est-ce-que c'est logique de se sentir aussi mal, enfin de se sentir aussi ému par rapport à ça, alors que je n'ai jamais vue quelque chose de similaire surtout ce non à la fin, qui brise vraiment tout, et qui m'a fait fondre en larmes. Wow vraiment très fort

Incroyable court métrage! Je n'ai jamais vu une vidéo sur l'inceste aussi poignante que celle-ci, quand je l'ai vu aujourd'hui j'ai pris plus de 10min à m'en remettre.
