Yes, you should be able to access the Undercroft any time. I think you just have to wait for the quest to be over with (you get that little achievement thingie pop up once it's done). 😊 I also hate the combat and flying 😂 I could really have done without it.

I think you can get back into the Undercroft without Sebastian or Ominis asking you to meet them there, it just might not be available right away, i'm not sure though, it's been a while since i tried to get in. Flying in this game, at least on a broom, is a _NIGHTMARE_ using a Keyboard and mouse, since there's not variation in how much you can control your descent or ascent speed using a keyboard like you can with the sticks on a controller, it's very easy to screw up lining up with those rings while doing the time-trial races (especially if you're flying really fast). I think it took me 11 tries to beat the 1st one, can't remember how many it took me to do the second, and i can't even beat the third. I actually find flying on mounts a lot easier to control. The fact that the camera is locked to the horizontal panning while flying is annoying (meaning you can't just tilt the camera to look up or down, you have to change your altitude), and something I really wish the devs would have not forced on us. The Gaunts are Voldemort's maternal bloodline. His mother was born in 1907, 17 years after this game's set date (1890), she died giving birth to Tom Riddle Jnr/Voldemort Dec 31 1926 aged 19, after seducing the muggle Tom Riddle with a lust potion (he was already dating someone/married). By the time Merope met Tom Riddle Snr, her family were so financially destitute from generations of inbreeding that she, her father Marvolo and brother Morfin (the latter of whome was so crazy he only spoke in parseltongue) were reduced to living in a run down shack on the boarder of the Riddle estate in Little Hangleton. Sadly this game's story isn't really considered canon, if it was, then Ominis would be a cousin or brother to Marvolo, as we don't have a definite date of birth for him, but we do know the year Marvolo dies: 1925. Going by Ominis's age, he was born in 1875, so would still be alive by the time Voldemort started attending Hogwarts in 1937.

Ah. I think I vaguely remember that about the Gaunts now you mention it. I bet we will ask that again the future. Keep a tally going. I can see where the flying controls would be wonky like that. Curious, in combat do you get all the spells listed out in one bar (1-9) or are they still contained to four active spells at a time? Once all the slots are unlocked of course. Something I liked when playing Guild Wars and Old Republic.

@@notthebestgaming4870 it's still 4 slots at a time on pc, but you get the ability to unlock four sets of slots (I think it's 4, might be 6), and i have them macro'd to the numpad keys (so num1 to num4 for each 'wheel'). My advice is, unlock the aditional spell 'wheels' as soon as you can, and specialise each for certain types of spells: one for yellow, one for blue, one for red and the final for unility/non combat spells or the unforgivables if you go for them (you should, they're very useful in a fight)

She unlocked one extra slot set. For now she has the non-combat spells on one. We will have to see if she is up to learning spell swapping mid-fight/combo. May be a little much for her. However, she improved big-time with a little practice so she may surprise us all. I'm a bit disappointed to hear the slots persist on PC, really figured it would be a bar where four slots would roll out horizontally with each upgrade. Solid call on the numpad keybind.
