Thank you for the suggestions. Can you pls share some words on Apoorva's video as well? Was it helpful? More applicants will be willing to share their experiences if they see a good response to earlier videos from other applicants.

Hi Sameer/MG, Thanks a lot for your reply. I had a few doubts and would be really blessed if you could advice me for- 1. Have a 2 year career break due to upsc prep 2. Would like to have an mba or mim if I fail again - how the break affect my prospects or profile? 3. Was considering one more attempt and starting a business simultaneously. 4. How shall I pivot things today if my planA2 is to have an international experience.

The longer the break, the tougher it will get for you to set things in motion. This applies to getting into a good masters program as well as starting a career. You have a bachelors degree from a well-respected undergrad college. Use that to start something on your own, or if you want to avoid the uncertainty, you can consider joining in a corporate role too. Do you have options in hand already for either of these ideas?

Our focus is on GMAT MBA which expected several years of work experience. Are you aiming for MBA programs in India or abroad?

@MBACrystalBall MBA programs in India

We don't focus on the traditional 2-year MBA programs in India. But to answer your dilemma, whether you choose to take the business or technical route, don't take the call based on what others say. Do it based on what truly excites you.

You can check out the latest Financial Times MBA rankings to get an idea of the best programs in England. Any specific reason you want to keep it restricted to Manchester?

@@javidullah1978 You'll make many new friends if you go to another city. Plus you always have your old friends in Manchester. Why not explore new options that'll help you grow your network? How many years of work experience do you currently have?
