I can't add to what others have said. I'm 70 and think Blackpink is the best thing that's happened to music in years! Some don't like Pink Venom because they wanted a harder drop on the chorus. im not even a Kpop fan but Kpop is so dope honestly, and ive learnt a lot about it recently. like one thing about Kpop compared to American singers is that nowadays, like Nicki Minaj also said, people don't get popular for their voices like they used to, but because of their popularity or their looks, but Kpop idols. they got thru millions of auditions and practice so hard every single day while being on hard diets, dancing and singing hours a day. that's why they're so good even if they JUST debuted. ANNDDD each Kpop group is so well balanced, even if its like 12 people, some are good at English, some amazing dancers, some mazing rapper and some good singers.

The traditional Korean instrument that Jisoo plays in the video is actually the "geomungo" (pronounced like "guh-moon-go"). It's similar to the gayageum. One main difference is that the geomungo has only 6 strings and 3 movable bridges and the gayageum has 12 strings and 12 movable bridges..
