Korea is not a very gay friendly country. If a kpop idol came out as gay it would probably ruin their career. so I was quite shocked when I saw this in a kpop mv, but very happy :) maybe Things will get better soon

Ok so the two male best friends are living together, they are roommates the one guy is secretly in love with the other guy but the other guy is dating the girl which is also both of their best friend. She treats her boyfriend's best friend like a brother and is oblivious to the heartache the best friend is going through because he knows his love is slipping away. they aren't intentionally throwing their love in his face, they have no idea he is heartbroken over their relationship. The whole point of the video is to have the secret twist at the end when you find out he wasn't upset about the girl he was upset about loosing his best friend the guy he secretly loved. Just to let you know all of the people in the video were well known Korean singers an actors, but none of them where K-Will.

Thank you for reacting to this! (: Just to let you know, KWill doesn't actually appear in the music video. The girl is actually played by SISTAR Dasom, the "gay" is singer-actor Seo In Guk and the boyfriend/husband is actor Ahn Jaehyun. KWill himself stated in an interview somewhere that it's confirmed that the character that Seo In Guk portrays was meant to be gay and had been in love with his bestfriend the whole time. Personally, I think he was just annoyed at the girl because she was taking his love away from him, which was why they focused on the two in the first place. If you rewatch the video, you can see that it was hinted that he had feelings for the other guy when it was after the wedding? Also, South Korea is not as open minded as the US so matters like this are still considered taboo though they are progressing in that aspect. In that sense, I think KWill is pretty amazing to be doing an MV like this especially in 2012.

Well, I am Korean and big fan of K.Will. K.Will said he want to put some humor and a surprising plot twist in his MV. And this is the first one. When you see 오늘부터 1일(1 Day) of K.Will, you can find another huorous scene in there. And... Seo InGuk is not a gay :) He is just actor who played the gay in this MV.

Hi guys, just in response to your questions - K.Will is not in the video. The actors in the video are Seo In Guk, Kim Dasom and Ahn Jae-hyn. Seo In Guk (who plays the guy who is distraught) is a singer and actor. He won the first Superstar K (tv talent show) and has gone to do a number of albums and has starred in a number of highly acclaimed Korean dramas (in particular, you should check out REPLY 1997 but anything he is in is usually good). Ahn Jae-hyun plays the Groom in the video. He is a model and actor. He played a support role in one of the biggest Kdramas in the last few years, My Love from Another Star. The female in the video is Dasom, who is also a singer with the Korean girl group, Sistar. She also acts and was recently was in the drama, the Virtual Daughter-in-law (which despite wanting to like it, was pretty awful).

I thought it was crazy that people are still reacting to Please Don't MV three years later :) But I love each and every reaction. Yours has bumped off many old reactions that I have seen. Thanks for giving this video such a great rating! Last I check, K Will has not given a statement about his sexual preference. He does not "appear" to be gay to me, but then again, I am no expert. Not many Koreans in the entertainment industry are openly gay. As with other Asian cultures, the subject of homosexuality is still considered taboo in South Korea. But I have it in good authority that Itaewon (the expatriate area of Seoul) has gay bars and that kind of thing. So, South Korea is not completely closed off. I'm sure someone has answered this before, but no, K Will is not in this video. He rarely stars in his own MVs. He prefers to hire actors (Seo In Guk plays the emotionally distraught, allegedly gay character in this MV. He is a brilliant actor, and I have reason to believe that he is straight). At best, K Will will make a cameo appearance in his MV. The female character is Dasom from girl group Sistar (a very good Kpop girl group that you guys must check out!) whereas the groom is a model/actor, whose name I forgot right now :P Thanks again for this reaction video. Lol thanks for the reaction, guys! :) K.Will isn't in the video. The guy you thought was K.Will is actually an actor/singer named Seo Inguk, and the female lead is from a girl group called Sistar. K.Will pretty much never appears in his MVs because he isn't considered "good looking" by Korean standards, from what I remember. Also, Korea is still fairly conservative regarding homosexuality, and it's only been fairly recently that it's been portrayed in the industry and whatnot. I know I already mentioned MYNAME's Baby I'm Sorry for a storyline, but you should definitely check out Akdong Musician's (AKMU) Melted. AKMU is a brother-sister duo, and they don't appear in the MV. They're both super young and talented. Thanks again, and I'm totally looking forward to those other videos!! :D

*sees the title* yasssssss haha but no K.will isn't in the video, they're all actors (random fun fact, the main character guy and the girl are both singers, you will probably see the girl in sistar's videos; the group she's in, who are awesome 10/10 would recommend their songs, like 'touch my body' and 'shake it'). As far as we know the main actor, Seo In Guk isn't gay. Also, in comparison to America for example, South Korea isn't AS accepting, in fact the LGBTQ community struggled this year to be allowed to hold their pride parade! So yeah, the main character is dreaming of the person in the car (as you see when the girl disappears from the car and the man replaced her in the last shot) so the beginning shots with the girl were supposed to put you off, but you could still tell he was mad at her, which is what makes this video so interesting, as even when you see him give her the BIGGEST bitch glare at 0:51 you still dismiss the fact he seems to hate her because you are kind of set in the idea the heterosexual love is the norm, and everything else is the exception! You still dismiss it even as you see him rip like half her side off in the picture and even when he gives long looks at the guy and smiles when he holds wrist, certainly not the action of someone whose angry at a person for taking their crush! Thanks for reacting to this mv I hope you liked it! Btw if you want to watch an mv with themes kind of vaguely similar to B.A.P's one shot, try 'Baby I'm Sorry' by Myname. To be honest I feel like the car scene is what we think is happening (if you notice, at the end after he rips the photo, both guys sit together. Which I think it means that it's not always what we think it is, and Also shows what we now think or Rather know is happening.) I think they are supposed to be close friends in the video and two of them are dating, that's why they live together. Also if you pay attention you can see that he's actually happy for the girl (since she's his friend) but gets angry/sad whenever he sees her with guy/ whenever he remembers she's actually dating the man he loves. K.will is not in this video and he's not gay XD but he clarified that the guy in this MV is supposed to be. Also I look forward to the other videos you'll be making, I'm sure they'll be fun ^^

I believe that the car scene signifies how he feels about her. By all rights, she's done nothing wrong, and we see her how she's always been: happy, pleasant, caring. She's in the car with him because despite that, she's always *there*, always in the way, and he can't escape it. When he reaches for her, we're seeing his desire to be in her place. He's consumed by the inevitability of her presence and what that means to the love he feels. You can see all over in the video the little things that point to him actually being interested in his friend instead of her, like at the beginning when he first makes an appearance. Seo InGuk (the name of the actor playing the main character) starts immediately smiling and laughing at whatever Ahn JaeHyun (the other actor) is saying, but then he shoots a dirty look at the woman. Even when JaeHyun is pulling him back down to get the picture taken after the wedding, it's like InGuk can't quite stay mad at him. It's really a very masterfully done music video.

you say you like story-like Kpop MVs? then look into Brown Eyes or Brown Eyed Soul (Brown Eyes is an R&B male duo from 2001, they later split and the one member ended up forming the R&B quartet Brown Eyed Soul), MV's for either groups are all stories with none of the members shown in the MVs; only later did Brown Eyed Soul started including their members to cameo in their MV's. The moment at the end when you all become speechless, legit made me laugh. K.Will is a great singer whom his voice made me fall in love. Day 1 was the first song I listened to by him, and I think you guys could possibly react to that. (: Personally, I think the story was about this emotionally distraught man, whose crush was being stolen by this girl, which is why he seemed so annoyed when she was pinching and touching his face. When they announced their engagement, the guy became more upset that his crush was getting farther away from him. At the end where they take a picture, the guy was refusing to be in it, but his crush dragged him in, unaware of the guy's feelings. Hence the ending with the photo.
