The way K-pop look right now it's BIGBANG doing, the K-pop sound in BANGx3 it's not them trying to match the new k-pop sound, it's their creation. K-pop's sound change a lot in 2012 when BIGBANG came out with Fantastic Baby, that song change the way k-pop sound but also look, the type of MV now are mostly influenced by that song

It's really easy actually lol 3 guys who know nothing about Kpop are shown tiny glimpses into each group by the other one that knows Kpop. And he films us reacting to them.. the main rule is we aren't allowed to know or research so the reactions are legit. Already surpassed Maroon 5 as most paid boy group. Already popular among huge producers like Pharrell. Their melodies are *solid* ~ classical musicians adore the mix of low bass and high tones in them. *There's no-flaw in their musical-compositions* amidst language barrier, that much is clear. Money talk: their Concert Sales alone brought $600M in just 3 years worth of tour. There's BTS the Lebron of today... then there's BIG BANG, the Michael Jordan who even those born in 2000's can't judge. :)

I think one of the secrets of their friendship and longevity is that each is the other member's biggest fan and supporter. They all have their own hobbies, business ventures, solo careers, etc . 4 out of 5 members are currently serving in the military. The youngest member, Seungri is currently working on a solo concert. His first live show, he was sent 4 wreaths and messages of "congratulations" and "best wishes" from his "hyungs".

Like all legends in music Big Bang reinvented themselves with each album and set trends in style, music and choreography. Unfortunately Taeyang doesn't dance as much in the past several years and he was the really impressive dancer of the bunch. Hi! Since u're abt to learn on the older gens of kpop, i would like to suggest u to listen to the longest running k-idol in history, Shinhwa, one of the 1st gens k-idol. They are celebrating their 20th this year n had just released their latest song in the 20th special album, Kiss Me Like That. It may be different from BB n BTS vibes but its a good start abt Shinhwa tho 😊 plus, BTS jongkook recently did a variety show with a Shinhwa member, Minwoo, just so u know 😁

Now see for me I was born in 88 so it was H.O.T, S.E.S, Sechskies,TVXQ(DBSK) and then the newer ones like big bang, shinee, blackpink ect. I did I did not get in kpop until 2006 with H.O.T, S.E.S, and Sechskies first I love H.O.T, S.E.S, Sechskies, Tvxq and Shinee more now I love Bst but not a hardcore mode on them. But H.O.T was the fathers of kpop's boy groups and S.E.S so I am happy to share info with people that is new to the kpop and S.E.S are like the mothers of kpop girls so am happy to tell people who are wanting to know the history behind how the kpop groups started. ^_^
