Xiumin Through The Sky Nobody's better than Jonghyun. A voice that literally could do anything -- impeccable technique -- but more important was that he was a true artist. He once said that if a singer isn't conveying the emotion of the lyrics he has failed. Every note that came out of his mouth carried his heart and soul. And to answer the question re which one could do the high notes -- Jonghyun's falsetto was heavenly.

That's old labeling. Lead and main are essentially the same thing. Plus, according to SHINee themselves, they're all main vocalists. I think it was Jonghyun who said it. Groups these days don't really go by these labels

It’s just the old groups that don’t say it very often but that doesn’t deny the fact that jjong had always been the main vocalist and onew the lead. That’s why jjong always had more lines. And lead and main are NOT the same in the kpop world. Groups still go by these labels, they just don’t say it out loud anymore especially older groups

Over the years it became more equel because Taemin also became a good singer, and as they became an older group it became less important.

Jonghyun ..the last part of his name is more like saying he -yun but put together in one syllable. I think it depends on how each person enunciates words. And I agree, it's okay to talk about him and celebrate his talent and gifts. I think all of you would have loved him as a person because he spoke about issues in our society openly which was very brave of him. (Key has also spoke up and out about issues too). This group is not only talented but also kind and caring and very lovable people.

He made their parts especially so that they can sing without a problem, for exemple Minho has problems singing in a high pitch and Jonghyun composed the parts so that each member is comfortable to sing. Symptoms is other nich song written by him and Orgel, Lonely, Elevator, Let me out but they are so sad he wrote about his depression and loneliness

I don't know why pronouncing their names is difficult.. They're pronounced phonetically as they're written -- Jong-hyun, O-new, Key, Tae-min, Min-ho. Actually, the only thing from their names not written phonetically is Minho's last name, which should be pronounced more as Cho-e than as Choy.

“Please do not make fun of “5hinee” they are legends they’ve been together for 10 years so they are like family to us Shawols” they get better as they age and if you follow them you will see that as there dancing improves and Taemin who is the Baby of the group and his voice improves in time so he is the third best singer in the group now since the lead singer Jonah is gone Onew and Taemin are the best then Key and then Minho, he’s known for his rapping. It's Jonghyun and not Jonah , to be a Shawol you suppose to know his name at least, and they already are great in the beguinning, Replay until today is an ICON, only Taemin and Minho improves with time because Onew, Jonghyun and Key had and still have an amazing and unique voice, the last few years SHINee are 5 vocals and dancers, not only since Jjong was gone and if you really know SHINee you suppose to know that, most of Japanese balads you can enjoy all 5 amazings voices , Key and Minho are most know to be the best in rapping but they have amazing voice , Minho and Taemin have very similar color in their voices but Key have a very unique .
