How does the SBS comes under the result in gain ...eventhough we know there is nothing in single channel module to get the power from other channel ...sbs should be saprate ....may be i don't allow my self to get ur explanation in the manner ...pls correct me ..

2:00 I don't agree with you. To be accurate, you should have precise that "the output power" here refers to the output power at the wavelength of excitation. Because in the general case, the output power is conserved even in the nonlinear regime of propagation (if we suppose a small amount of loss, of course...). So if you integrate the energy of all-optical components at the output side of the waveguide (experimentally by measuring the output energy using an optical powermeter...) you will always find a linear relationship between input and output power, except for the wavelength of excitation in the nonlinear regime.
