I’m so glad I found this channel. You guys are close to my age, and I have a lot to learn from your wisdom, which is beyond your years. I love that there are still genuine young people of God like you guys, who are unapologetic, radical and on fire for God and his word. It is hard to find true christians these days, in fact it is very rare. It feels lonely on this side, and you think hope might be gone for this generation until you see fellow remnant christians that are still in it for the Lord and living out the faith in holiness. Look, I definitely understand the not wanting to public school your kids, I really do. But I’ve been public schooled all my life. My faith is still strong. It has taught me to stand firm in my beliefs and to share the gospel. Also it has helped me be in the world but not of the world. I have several homeschooled friends, so I do understand, they all think we’re crazy heathens for going to public school. But here’s the thing. If all Christians pull their kids out of public school, who’s going to witness to the kids there? I do understand where you’re coming from, but I think it’s wrong to completely say you shouldn’t public school your kids. Someone once told my dad he was sending his kids to the devil, but I believe my faith is stronger because I was public schooled.

Fortunately, some of the public schools I work at are conservative because I live in a red state. We actually did a Christian song in one of the SPED classes. However, the school system in general and even Christian colleges as well as secular colleges, are getting more liberal.

I disagree with political beliefs. We should have none and just let the world be. They can't govern righteously anyway, only God will solve this problem. They do not respect Psalm 2. 7:34 - I totally agree on this one. I will NOT date a woman who doesn't regularly listen to bluegrass music. I've asked women about bluegrass before, and some have responded to the effect of "Well, I like the music but I don't know the names of any of the artists or song titles". That won't cut it for me. You guys contradicted yourselves. No works, some people can't make it to Church. If they are reading their Bibles and watching sermons online and are working toward a church or can't get to a church. How is that part of a non negotiable clause? Grace, Mercy, exactly what our Lord preached about. Everyone has a different journey and no one should be judged if they are not mobile and can't attend a church. The Lord works through all of us. Even a group of 5 can be a church. 2. Cor 6:14 does not refer to marriage. This is obvious when one reads further to verse 17, where Pauls calls christians to "Come out from among them, and be separate." In 1. Cor 7:15, however, he allows only the unbelieving partner to leave the marriage. So Paul would contradict himself if 2. Cor 6:14 would refer to marriage. Instead, the unbelieving partner is sanctified by the believer (1. Cor 7:14).

2 Corinthians 6:14 is not specifically about marriage but there are other places where we are told to only choose a believer for a spouse. Yes, if you are already committed to an unbeliever, don't break your word because God is able to work through your situation. But if you are still single, do not choose someone outside the faith. Look at Deut. 7 :3-4 and 1 Cor. 7 :39. Also, even though verses like 2 Cor. 6:14 and James 4:4 are not directly about choosing a spouse the advice applies to that decision. I don't think Paul contradicts himself even if we do apply 2 Cor 6:14 to marriage. In 2 Cor 6, Paul is talking to believers who have not yet covenanted with unbelievers. In 1 Cor 7:12-15 he is talking to believers who are already in covenant. We see from the story of the Gibeonites that keeping covenant takes precedence over separation/destruction of a wicked people.

Please don't confess to him. Keep praying. If he is really the one for you, he will ask you out. Pray God breaths His breath upon him so he comes alive in Christ Jesus. When that happens and you are the one God wants for him, he will come to you.

Remember that the Bible says that you should be equally yoked. We should not marry people from other religions. Solomon tried marrying different religions and even him, being the wisest man in the world, fell to idolatry because of it. It’s important for your faith that you not marry someone until they have the same faith in Christ that you do!

As far as education for kids, keep in mind that the debate of private school vs. public school vs. homeschooling is perhaps not the best question to be asking. The more accurate question is which public school(s) and/or which private school(s) you are considering. There are some public schools that are great; even for Christians to put their kids in. On the other hand, there are some private Christian schools that might have godly staff and students, but its quality of education might not be that great.

Jesus actually made sure to address all of the political issues of His day that politicians had a divide on if it was a matter that The Bible spoke on. Marriage for example. There were conservative and progressive sides to the argument. One side believed that divorce wasn’t a big deal and the other did think it was and should be avoided at all costs. Christ gave His opinion. Just because something is labeled a “political issue” does not mean Jesus has no opinion on it or asks us to have no opinion on it. God has a problem with killing babies, so we stand for whatever side protects babies. It’s truly as simple as that. If people have an issue with that, I would encourage them to evaluate what the Bible says we are to stand for and the sins God hates.
