how exactly will dragline dynamics operate?
@theAmazing
@theAmazing 3 жыл бұрын
Dragline Dynamics will be at first independently operated by myself in the space I am renting beginning next year. Other close collaborators (The Human Spider, The Blood-Spider, Spider-Slayer, will visit and contribute to the body of knowledge surrounding web-shooters. Meanwhile we will develop very refined (not the quality seen in my videos) products (web-shooters, web fluid) to sell to keep the operation going. I envision the final form of Dragline Dynamics to be a non-profit, as the goals are scientific investigation, product development, and outreach. The money earned by product development will be put towards laboratory materials as well as outreach, including supporting the Astrals (an RLSH non-profit organization), funding homeless supply drives as I have done with far less funds in the past, and activism. I hope to god that Dragline Dynamics never becomes a for-profit company, I'd rather it be nothing at all.

@@theAmazing "I'd rather be nothing at all than a for-profit company" Looks like people in your company actually have a pation to make web fluid and other stuff than greedy money Maybe start a patreon to see the stuff (web shooters) prototypes before posting it on KZbin? That way you get some funding Don't make everything paid though We still want content from KZbin And the web fluid formulas should be posted on yt for free (or not) Revealing the formula will also drag more attention to your videos (I'm saying this because I still want web fluid formula tutorials for free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Edit: I saw the full video and you made it open source! Nice!

@@theAmazing that sounds pretty sick! i was asking because i myself have been interested in the science behind these "make it real" esque projects and ideas for years now, and it basically fostered my interest in the stem fields, and i wanted to know if you'd ever be down to get new brains in or do internships or anything like that

To print a grid structure with a normal slicer, interlace columns and rows exactly one layer. This stops the slicer from "playing snake", and the layers will still fuse, just with a little less material and a lot less artifacts.

If you use a dual color filament, you can get different colors based on which angle you view the lens at. CNC kitchen does some prints with this material and they look AWESOME!

Try klipper firmware, I think the problem with the speed is that you have too much resolution, so a lot of gcode lines to be processed.

could you heat up a safety pin or something like that to poke holes in the nice lenses that fogged up so it has an exit and they don’t fog up. I remember seeing a F1 race where that did this to a drivers helmet so the rain condensation didn’t build up while he was driving

sidenote- the less bright the colour of the lens, the more you will be able to see out of it. My mesh is black on the inside and white on the outside for that reason. if it's too light of a colour then the photons bounce off of the mesh straight into your eye and it sucks.
@theAmazing
@theAmazing 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's what I observed in this video
@SpiderManWinnipeg
@SpiderManWinnipeg 3 жыл бұрын
@@theAmazing yes but you could paint the inside of your mesh black so that no matter what colour it is you’re good, or paint a black mesh the colour you want- or print a black mesh and layer it to avoid the bouncing trouble.
