Great video, great recommendations! Gonna check out Tomo-chan for sure. Considering you mentioned Komi, Nagatoro AND Gal-Gohan, I REALLY recommend you check out a manga called 'Yancha Gal no Anjou-San'. I read it after feeling sad that I'd caught up to Komi and Nagatoro and thought it was good, wholesome, sexy fun. Judging by your recommendations I really think you'll dig it :)

I would also recommend The Way of The House Husband, the humor gets a little repetitive after the first volume but each volume always has 2-3 chapters that are pure comedy genius Imo

My reccomendations are: So I'm a spider, so what? This is about a highschool girl being transported to another world but as a spider. It follows her as she tries to survive in her new dungeon home and eventually thrive. 7/10 Solo leveling A pretty average power fantasy story with God like art. Through an event the mc gains the power to "level up" and grow stronger in a world where that's normally not possible. This is both a Web novel and a manwha but for the love of God please just read the manwha(the art is just beautiful) 6.5/10 Denma This is an amazing webtoon space opera taking place in an original universe. A famous fugitive is captured, put into the body of a child and forced to deliver packages across the universe. The beauty of this one is how it follows different characters in different times and how all the plot threads come together at the end of an arc. 9/10 (gets a bit confusing sometimes) Hope you enjoy!

I can never recommend Girls' Last Tour enough. No other series has affected me the same way Girls' Last Tour has. It's not for everyone, but if it is for you, there is nothing like it. The anime adaptation was pretty good but it doesn't cover the last 2 volumes (out of 6) so you have to read eventually. Two girls, Chito and Yuuri, wander their post-apocalyptic world. There is no action and barely any drama, the world is dead. Those two just go in a vague direction on their Kettenkrad bike, scavenging for food and supplies, and just talk to each other about the things they see. Having never experienced the world we know, they have an interesting outsider's view on a lot of things we take for granted. The series has a wonderous curiosity to it that I love. There is also the theme of coming in terms with the inevitable, with despair, and just having fun. It is amazing. If you do read it and you like it, the author is releasing a new manga called Shimeji Simulation which has a completely different setting but retains the curiosity of GLT. The two series are also connected in some way that hasn't been explained yet.

Though I'd probably suggest the anime 1st, 'The disastrous life of Saiki K' is an utterly brilliant comedy, that'll hook you after the initial exposition/setup. It's shonen and it's early beginning has just got an anime but, Dorohedoro is an amazing series: wonderfully creative and inventive, stylish as F, but one of the most striking features is how the charismatic gangster antagonists are legitimately secondary protagonists; with a contrasting dynamic that that really stands out against the 'good guys'.

Technically- it's a shounen, but if you're lonely nothing fills the hole like Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun. It's got some action, but the majority of it is just an adorable story about the main character getting a family, friends, and learning to think about what he wants out of life. It's so cute, with lots of fluff and comedy and just a really interesting world. The art is beautiful and the characters are all really unique!

I've also found that as I grew older I found that I really enjoy more romantic based mangas (as well as some traditional shonen). Mangas such as okusan, grand blue, wotakoi, yancha gal no anjou-san, My dress up darling, The way of the househusband, rough sketch senpai, silver spoon, and of course the biggest komi san. I just can't stop from reading them and not getting a huge stupid grin on my face, komi literally makes my day better to the point where when I first got into it I was upset that I got up to the current chapter and had to start waiting on new chapter releases. Honestly will check out some of these recommendations, they have piqued my interest.

If you are looking for shonen with a good love story. I recommend the Chiverly of a Faild Knight. It is half tournament arc half love story. It is finished but only the first four volumes have been translated to English.

Top recommendations from me is land of the lustrous it’s hard to explain and the first few volumes definitely mislead you a bit but it’s really good and very pretty. our dreams at dusk is another really good one it’s about a kid who gets outed at school and then finds a lounge run by a bunch of other lgbtq+ people it’s really sweet.

It's an older series at this point, but I can't recommend Otomen enough. It's a shockingly sweet romantic comedy about a boy who's been raised to be hyper-manly most of his life but honestly prefers more classically feminine pursuits, and him figuring out how to be comfortable being himself and find people that accept him as he is. It also gets the main couple together quite quickly, leaving the majority of the story to focus more on the new challenges of being in a relationship and their personal trials, rather than the typical 'will they won't they' of romantic comedies.

If you want another 'Gal' manga, but without the forbidden relationship and with great art as well, I would recommend: Yancha Gal no Anjou-san "Seto is a completely ordinary and somewhat boring high school student. Yet, for whatever reason, his errant gyaru classmate Anjou just won't leave him alone! The serious Seto and energetic Anjou make a contrasting duo, but Anjou doesn't seem to mind, as she has too much fun teasing him. On the other hand, Seto has a hard time dealing with all of her endless antics; little does he realize that his humorous reactions are precisely the reason Anjou enjoys his company. I enjoy this guy's videos so much. I like the way he speaks and his humour LMAO I have a recommendation! My all time favourite mangas are Hyouka, Fruits Basket and Gakuen Alice/Alice Academy. They're all pretty old tho Fruits Basket is really popular so I don't think I need to explain it. I just love it. Hyouka, I'm not sure how many people know it but I think it's kind of popular? Still, I love the manga and wish it covered more of the novel. It's not that much comedy besides the occasional comedic relief but it's not overly heavy, and also the stories? Sub-plots? The "mysteries" are just really interesting and intriguing. Gakuen Alice/Alice Academy is a masterpiece imo. I'd never seen a plot like that before when I read it, and it also had me bawling my eyes out, snot and all. It's about a girl named Mikan, her best friend moved away and she couldn't handle being alone (since she also doesn't have her parents around) so she followed her best friend secretly, not long after she left, to her new school. There at the school, she meets a teacher there, and it turns out the school that her best friend transferred to is for special people who possess an "Alice", which is basically magic. The teacher didn't explain this to her directly, I think it was a narration? So supposedly, Milan cannot enter the school as it is strictly prohibited and supposed to protect from outsiders. However the teacher interacting with her realises that it turns out Mikan also has an Alice so he invites her into the school. Mikan is completely oblivious though. And then there she meets, Natsume? (can't remember his name) which uhh I won't explain lmao I would say it's kinddddd of 13+, the romance is a little childish (well the main characters are children after all) so it has elements that, how should I put it, only excite 13 year old girls (.. Me. I read it at 13) You know kabedons and all. (.. The beginning is pretty ecchi though so maybe 15+ would be safer) But the rest of the story is pretty deep and just.. You have to read to find out. :)

So a few I read recently if any of these catch your interest: a witches printing office, a cute as hell messy bookworm girl gets isekaid and instead of the usual crap she seeks a way home with a return spell and she chooses to do this by starting a comiket in another world. And What the hell are you doing here teacher?, I came for the "plot" alot of tiddies cause I am just easy to please and stayed for the plot, ya this one caught me by surprise with the gimmick of having a different couple each volume. Sexy stuff not withstanding the couple's in this series have really cute and organic relationship where they just got to know each other and it just sorta happened. Ya know, like normal relationship frequently do which I find kinda refreshing.

Really appreciate the video, I’d actually contemplated trying Plus-sized Elf before, but all the reviews saying it was a bunch of body-shaming or fetishizing or something put me off a bit, didn’t know what to believe about it, and I couldn’t justify the money. Also please don’t have Gal Gohan end with them getting together, aside from being fired... ew, don’t, she’s in school. But yeah, thanks for all the recommendations, if you haven’t read/watched it already I’d recommend Bloom Into You, another yuri manga/anime that I think is great.

I recommend Nukoduke! It's a really cute 4 koma manga about a guy taking care of two tiny anthro kittens, and the ups and downs of their life. It's a pretty cute slice of life, but it get's a bit dramatic at times. I don't think it's been distributed, but you can find it online. Another one is Exterminator, another isekai in the bowl of other isekai's but with a twist. The person who gets sent to antoher world is actually a pest exterminator, and he goes around dealing with pests in unique and interesting ways. It does get a bit ecchi, but other than that it's pretty fun. And IF you haven't read it yet I reccommend 2 of CLAMP's books: CLOVER and WISH. CLOVER takes place in the far future and the main character has to help escort this mysterious girl with powers to some place before he can finally retire. All 4 volumes are in the Dark Horse omnibus version and it's really nice seeing CLAMP's artwork in scifi. WISH is about a man who helps and angel and before the angel can return to heaven, they have to grant the man's wish, the problem is, there isn't really anything he wants. Hijinks ensue.

"Buddha" by Osamu Tezuka (The Godfather of manga and creator of Astro Boy). While most of his work is the best of manga as far as I've read, Buddha is the best of his work in my opinion. He's worth exploring though. "Bride's Story" by Kaoru Mori is a good "Romance" novel. I quote romance because while the stories are relationship centric, there is an overarching story that comes into play every now and then, and to be honest, what I loved most about this manga is it's in depth insight into the life of those in the nomadic cultures of Central Asia. I also highly recommend you do a video on graphic novels as there are plenty of gems for lovers of animation in that genre as well.

A really good shoujo if you're interested is fruits basket! Its really good and sweet and there's lots of really emotional moments! Also if you're interested in jousei I highly recommend Kyoko okazaki's Manga, and my lesbian experience with loneliness!

This is really old vid but could you review Wolf girl and Black Prince manga ( there is an anime but it doesn't show any development for the ML because he is IMO one of the best written Shoujou leads) , and Kaichou WA Maid-Sama.
