Thanks for the tip on the EPDM insulation, I’ve been languishing for a solution for that and you sorted it!

+1. .. Great Espar van install ... Exhaust on the driver's side is a huge plus. .. Thanks!

Under seat installations are always on the noisy side, the pedestals resonate and are tricky to seal / silence. Stainless external enclosures are also available, easy to mount to a couple of study angle lengths to the sides. Gives you lots of options in terms of fitment placement under the floorpan, and easier to keep the exhaust away from the sides door, both LHD & RHD. One of quietest places to fit the pump is the trailing face of the cross chassis box section above the rear axle (see how Mercedes mounts lots of stuff there too).

In a nutshell, why do you prefer Espar over Webasto?

Hey there. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your content to the point I'm VERY SICK of cutting finger joints!! Luckily I'm done for now, but DANG!! I had a few questions about the undermount setup. I bought it, I see there are 2 air ducts going in, but when I watch other setups (under the seat or inside the van/truck) they don't have 2. What is the other ducting for? Does the heat come from both sides of the heater? Also, where/how do you get the wiring up inside? Did you just use a cable gland? Any help would be greatly appreciated....Joe

so I assume you have used diesel and gas propex. Amy preference and why? I have propex because have found it for peanuts and plus I cook with gas but lpg not being as easily available and easy to install as diesel makes me question if I should go with diesel. Propex seems to shut off and on and diesel heaters just run constantly on low. Propex use much less amps than diesel heaters. But don't like idea of agas bottle in my van. What are your thoughts?
