My thoughts exactly! Ive seen first hand experience of a car loose control and kill people. I watched in my home town as a drag car lost control and seen bodies go over the top of a light pole. I was 100 feet away. Im sure many have heard about it "cars for kids" accident in selmer tn.

I guess I'm old school but using a high performance car costing maybe 50k or more to do burnouts is ridiculous and moronic. Yeah back in the day we did burnouts but that was secondary to the purpose of wicked acceleration or heating tires at the drag strip, not the primary purpose. Like I said I'm old school and tires are expensive.

jackalo626 well why not add another trophy to the weekend, car show Drag racing and burnout competition. I reckon 3 trophies are better than 2. And don't forget we eat our Coat of Arms as well
@DriveByGuy8 жыл бұрын
"Australia has the best burnouts"... I've heard/seen that about twenty times too many today. If you're proud of destroying your tires, and your car in general (burnouts are rough on the car as a whole), then be my guest. We don't go overboard with burnouts because A. We don't want to destroy our cars B. Tires are expensive as fuck over here C. People stand too close to allow us to do a good one I've notices that you aussies do burnouts in a HUGE space, with crowds many meters away. Stop bragging when all you're doing is driving cars that we AMERICANS invented.
@headofturtle43058 жыл бұрын
DriveByGuy556 I've been waiting for someone to step up to the plate! and no I don't Brag when it comes to stating the obvious, because I know most of you Mericans hate that:) you Mericans do destroy your cars on a much bigger scale, that's why you Mericans have wheelie competitions!! I'd rather, pop a motor, scrap a gearbox, corkscrew a tail shaft, Shatter a diff, snap a axle or shred a tire, then do a wheelie and slap the car into the bitumen, just to fuck the whole Driveline, bend the chassis and warp the shit out of the body, that there is real smart thinkin And don't start with the expenses bullshit, if you can't afford to run your car, what the fuck are you doing in the show PS don't be too hard on yourself that your country doesn't give a fuck about spectator safety
