As always, another fantastic video from the IDO team. I just fished a tournament here in NW North Dakota yesterday (11JAN2020) and caught most of my fish on a Neon Lites Glass Rattlr spoon on a dead stick tipped with 2 minnows. One through the mouth and one back by the dorsal fin. Then jigging with a glow perch rippin rap tipped with a minnow head.

Do you ever have an issue with the Reel in cold temps with the iFish pro? I could see reels getting rough/sticky feeling in colder temperatures.
@InDepthOutdoorsTV5 жыл бұрын
So far we've had real good luck with Okuma reels but if you end up with one that gets sticky when it's cold that's typically due to the factory over greasing the real. The grease gets thick in extremely cold temps and makes the real hard to turn. The fix is to give the reel a good cleaning and replacing the thick Grease with a lighter weight oil. I prefer quantum hot sauce myself.

Why are you using an LTP over a deadstick?
@pjvick24995 жыл бұрын
With the larger bait we wanted a rod with good backbone and a fast tip to drive the hook through that larger bait into the fish.
@mnsportsman70055 жыл бұрын
PJ Vick Ok thanks. Has the Milwaukee drill and Lite Flite been a reliable setup for you? I just bought one but want to know if maybe should just bite the bullet and get the 40v.
@pjvick24995 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! The lite flite has been the fastest most lightweight drill I have personally used. Our game plan since the beginning of the season was to use the cordless with the lite flite until the ice was thick then switch to the 40 volt. Makes the most sense from a battery life stand point.
@mnsportsman70055 жыл бұрын
PJ Vick I got 75 holes in 18” with the m18 and 8” lite flite/ 8ah battery. Was just concerned about reliability in long run. Seems like a lot of stress on the drill
