Lately every time I get complacent and lazy, not wanting to go fish, I watch one of your videos, and I'm amped to go again. Great videos.

Thank you for another great adventure! I’ve noted you always use kebari. While I admire your commitment to tenkara tradition, some of the waters you’ve fished of late practically cry out for classic western attractor patterns such as the Stimulator, Humpy or Elk-hair Caddis. But obviously, you’ve been very successful with your approach!

And don't forget the Copper John! :)

Just to clarify, did you mean a _sakasa_ kebari? Because iinm just 'kebari' means the fly use the classic Western/European tying technique instead of the inverted tying style of the Japanese derived sakasa kebari technique.

Beautiful area and Beautiful fish! I wonder why all the foam in the water in the backcountry there?
@garyrafferty76253 жыл бұрын
It's natural in most western trout streams. The viigorous mixing of surface water by water currents, rapids and plunge pools generates bubbles that persist and build up as foam... most often collecting in eddies. Always look for trout under foam... especially on sunny days.
