Hey man great video. Funny when I go out on my boat to try for blowfish and sometimes even when I go fluking in the middle of the GSB it’s all kingfish and they aren’t really that big either. I guess good for next year but overall not all that fun. Becoming the new sea robin hava

Yeah it’s interesting, I never really caught them until the last few years. Their numbers are exploding up here. I even observed hundreds of them moving through the shinnecock canal in early APRIL with my underwater cam! It’s so wild. Thanks for watching

The smooth puffers are a lot bigger and grey and have smooth skin. But yeah the shape is similar

haven't seen king fish since I was a kid flounder fish 45 years ago.....they look like a florida Catfish.
