BMD ka diagram galat hai. Agar same sign hote h kisi member pe to line cross krti hai. Or sign convention bhi galat hai. Baki problem solve karne ka explanation is VERY GOOD.

Regarding support reactions..for example span AB. We are taking the moments about A. It means the forces and moments which are passing through joint A will not consider..why you consider moment at A for calculating reaction B. Please clarify. It will be applicable fot all other spans.

Sir, I have two doubt. Can you pls clear my doubts? Plss sir My doubt arose when I started studying MDM and other force displacement methods for indeterminate structures. My doubt is that: 1) we get moments on column while analyzing a structure by MDM or other methods. So, how we will know whether the moments generated on column are Mux or Muy ( moment about x and y axis) I mean you know we need moment about x axis and y axis for design of biaxial columns. So, how will we know which one is Mux and Muy from the moments we get by MDM method or any other merhod? 2) we were taught that we provide ties in column just to hold main bars cause there is no shear force acting on column but from analysis by MDM I came to know there is also shear force acting on columns so why I was taught that we shouldn’t consider SF to provide ties. We just provide ties to hold main bars and provide ties as per SP 16 and IS 456. Why is it so sir? There is clear shear force acting then why we don’t consider it and design ties according to that same as we do in case of beams to tackle shear force? PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER THIS TO CLEAR MY DOUBTS SIR. I’ll always be grateful to you. I’ll be waiting for your reply. Pls ask asap sir.
