Nonverbal communication DIY PECS Cards. My autistic son is non verbal and one of the first ways he communicated was using Homemade DIY PECS Cards. This would be great with anyone that has a speech delay as well.

Oh girl my son did ALOT of ecolalia and now he is talking in full sentence. James still needs a lot of help w his speech but where he is now as opposed to where he was 3 yrs ago is huge. He didn’t make much progress w his speech for the first yr but since then he has made slow but steady progress. Gus is such a amazing lil guy don’t give up hope cuz I’m telling you they can and do surprise us every day.

So glad to hear that about your son, that's amazing! My son has made a lot of progress too. He's really trying to speak a lot now which is great. He still needs to work on a lot of articulation but I'm so happy he's trying and wants to speak.

Thank You! We live on a small Island in Alaska with only 2,400 residents. We found out our 3 year old has Autism about a year ago.... There isn't a lot of resources here for autistic children. Your video was very helpful❣

The way that you discribe your son is like if you were describing mine. I need to try this the only thing is that my almost 4 years old love reaping stickers or any type of tape . 😞

I bought it at Target and the link is www.target.com/p/scotch-153-magnetic-tape-black-1-2-in-x-4-ft/-/A-17079292 . You could search magnetic tape on Amazon and different options pop up. I think most would probably work.
