The issue is one still needs to cook this food. If gas, power, water etc get cut off you won’t be able to prepare anything.

That seems no different than Lipton noodle packs? Can’t you vacuum seal those and save money?

You should be able to vacuum seal the unused portions after you open the bags. I don't know that Lipton noodle packs have a shelf life of 25 years, though.

Most of these dried foods do me no good being a diebetic who struggles with high blood sugar. All these foods are heavy on carbs. Granted the protein containers would be best

If a very bad emergency happens and you can’t get to your regular food then you’ll have to give your body whatever unless you just want to starve ma’am

Definitely the protein containers but also the fruit/veggie and the canned items should be good. Typically if you can combine carbs + fiber/fat/protein it should help your blood sugar be more manageable but of course need carbs for energy overtime. Hope that helps and you get better/find a solution

It’s a survival serving lol it’s designed for the apocalypse. If the world is starving and you have these, you won’t be having full portions you would today. It’s supposed to be enough to keep you from starving. I suggest buying a few buckets for when SHTF, you’re going to feel like a king when you’re the only one around with food. But obviously get some guns for when people try to steel it.
