Nice choice Ben. You'll absolutely love her! I sold my BassCat and also bought the 21' Triton TRX Patriot w/ Performance Package. One issue I had was the cockpit seating. I'm 6'3" and obviously didn't like sitting on the damn floor. UPGRADE YOUR COCKPIT SEATS, BOTH DRIVER & PASSENGER WITH "RISERS!" ALSO, YOU WANT THE SEATS WITH THE "BOLSTER" UPGRADE ~ HOWEVER, IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR SEATS HAVE BOLSTERS ON EACH SIDE ALREADY! SO JUST MAKE SURE TO GET THE RISERS. It makes a huge difference. Enjoy your new boat! She's a beauty!

Welcome to the Triton family! Nice rig! It's amazing how wide the front decks are on the newer one. I'm running an HP-21 and the closer you get to the bow, the narrower it gets but she was built for speed. I'm getting older, like the wider deck more now.

18:36 that remote drain plug will be nice on a triton. Mine is like 3 feet under the boat lol. Something that takes a little getting used to but I'd rather have my screw in style. The remote ones usually don't seal as well so it'll leak a little. I'm one that isn't happy if I have water in the boat other than from backing up in wake or if I let a little wake come in the back when stopping. Good thing is it's almost impossible to get water in the back from stopping in the triton but my 18.5 foot skeeter could take a lot of water in if you didn't slow down way before and then give it some gas so the wave wouldn't catch up to it

Heck yeah! I just bought my first triton a few months ago. It is a 2000 TR21 with a 225 merc efi. That thing is like a barge lol it is huge compared to my skeeter that I had. It's definitely a lot faster than my skeeter was and rides so much better. Mine tops out around 73 mph with a 4 blade fury. The hole shot is like a 4 stroke with that prop and I'm very pleased. If I bought a 3 blade tempest I could get it up to 78 but I love my setup especially since I like to put every bit of gear I have in it

I've been running Triton boats since 2004. Never had a issue with any of them. I currently run a Triton 21HP which will haul a$$. I wish they still made the HP. Down here on the Mobile delta, we make 80 mile runs one way and the extra speed does come in handy.

I have my trx21 on order, should be here in a couple weeks. I went with the 10' power poles though. The dealer I went through, who was a minn kota dealer, even recommend the power poles over the talons. Said the they had a lot of issues with the talons not retracting. Hope it works out for you.✌️
