Utterly disagree. The only reason you're saying that is because Chuck (RIP) didn't have a natural ability to sing on pitches (which is why he formed Control Denied so the vocals could be more of what he was into in tandem with his songwriting) and also lots of thrash metal was pitchless shouts whereas others were very melodic like Metallica and Testament. Death metal could have easily evolved to be a primarily sung genre. It just didn't.

110% agree with your comment, it evolved the way it did but there’s a lot of untapped potential in the more melodic approach to this style, I’m expecting someone to eventually own that territory because it kicks ass whenever it’s done right

@@TimiTamminen Thanks haha. Yeah I think more bands need to experiment with this tbh but Noneuclid was really STILL the only one who does it to THIS degree. I miss them a lot :( We've only still heard snippets of their best shit (the album 3 clips that are available online)

@@TimiTamminen At least Flo (composer of this band) is continuing to compose with Alkaloid. Especially Azagthoth and Chaos Theory on their second album are among some of the best metal songs he's EVER written right up there with the best Noneuclid material.
