Doppelganger won the Women’s Prize for Nonfiction. I really liked it. She tackles a lot, so you don't want to rush through it.

Here's my Nonfiction November: Code: "The Last Cowboys: A Pioneer Family in the New West" by John Branch (playing with the idea of the Code of the West) Path: "West Like Lightning: The Brief, Legendary Ride of the Pony Express" by Jim DeFelice (an historical route) Shot: "Shot All to Hell: Jesse James, the Northfield Raid, and the Wild West's Greatest Escape" by Mark Lee Gardner (because title) Join: "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable" by Patrick Lencioni (just because we're reading it in a work book club) Thank you!

perfume and pain isn't too edgy, but that book is extremely boring. and i love books where nothing happens, but i like when nothing happens but the character is fascinating to explore, this one was just involved in boring lesbian drama and i was over it lol but i hope you love it
