VP, I would like to say thank you for your consistency and hardwork. I still can’t believe I stumbled on a channel that has had as much impact as yours on my life. Now because of you I can’t look at any Instagram trader the same anymore 😂😂. I salute you.

11:15 this is gold! this is the answer ive been looking for. i just trade my system. it should remove my opinion. if it setup the way my system should then i should enter it. if its a lose its fine. if it does it again ok. next trade. it goes back to the fact that we dont know what the market will do. i just execute my system. its the long game. whats impt is my system works and in the long run its profitable. consistency and discipline. i should trade like a robot.
@nowanobady4 жыл бұрын
add notes: another realization... its bec my system is my boss! not me and my system is my servant, not like that. im just the one who executes it! my boss just tells me what to do. ok its setup, enter! not yet complete setup, hold on. ok exit signals, exit! conclusion then: we should be a slave to our system. bec its the one who gives the profits, not us? thoughts??? thanks

you made me into my mad-matician mindset this week again, and i went to test my indicators with your aproach, BUT what a surprise for me, i found i didnt was using one little confirmation detail on one of them, and now the puzzle of indicator looks complete XD The daily chart is so powerfull that even with that "big mistake/little detail" i had only one blatant error on 5 or 6 setups during last 6 weeks O.o From another Daily charts lover, Thanks!

In my humble opinion, i think cutting loses is as important but even better than adding wins, although both do get our winning ratio up, our efficiency percentage goes up quicker when taking a lost off compared to adding a win, so the end result is less trading needed to hit the same winning percentages.😏

I was watching a video about risk augmentation from ICT (looked him up when you mentioned him in an earlier video) What do you think of his approach to reduce risk during losing streaks? He says to drop risk down to 1% then 0.5% until the losing streak breaks, then continue to trade with 0.5% risk until you make 1/2 of your initial loss back, then up your risk to 1% until you recoup your full loss, then go back to 2% risk. Is this too conservative? He makes a good point, but it does seem like it could slow down a comeback. Thanks for all your work on these playlists!

What you are describing regarding not bailing on a pair cuz it is losing sounds a lot like diversification in the stock market. You are in one sector like utilities and it is not doing well, don't bail on it. It will turn around. In the meantime you are being propped up because you are also in tech which is sky rocketing. When tech starts to fall off a bit, that is when the utilities comes back strong. In a sense you are doing the same with the different pairs. Does this make sense?

VP, I have listened to your videos and read the blog but don't recall (my apology if I missed it or forget) discussion of issues with possibility of Over-Optimizing indicators when backtesting... if it exists then proper forward-testing will catch it most of the time, but can save a lot of time and misery if over-optimizing can be avoided/minimized in the development of indicators/algos. Perhaps a discussion of your thoughts ? in any event, Thanks again.

@albertsaxen830910 ай бұрын
.. so let’s parse this a little bit; stocks traders can use TA; *institutional no there..fundamental (and if, should you ever mention technicals ..oo.. ) now, Elliott, fibo ..cool; no issues here. ..but the MTA :s I mean trend lines, overbought oscillators fine but they have dwelled into some mysticism there .. why would the organizers be upset..don't they want traders to succeed ..well, if it's a huckster, charlatan, scammer..conman paradise .. I didn’t go but did attend virtually with my firm and holy..is it shit .. The CMT symposium in NY is different however; sets the tone for the industry..ppl like Jerry Parker, et al.

I like your podcast but why you talk bad about other products and services to bring yours up? There is no reason unless you got a vetted interest seems a little jealous or bad energy. SELL your product and services and abilities and if they are good people will buy into you. We are not buying into all these channels that just talk bad about the other channel makes no sense. Nobody came to listen to that
