shoelace castle is one of these levels that seems impossible at first but is very doable once you get comfortable (at least to me) skull surfing is just really nice and solid

It also really gains from being a SMW level - most other Mario engines don't feature nearly as much fine control from mid-air movement alone. I imagine it'd be miserable in SMBX.

(Heh, fitting to have a TTYD song today, since the Nintendo Switch version was just released.) (11:00) This is a nice level to get Cape Feathers from, especially at the midpoint. (11:35) Managed to slip through that tiny gap nicely. (11:53) Derp. It's annoying how easily you can touch a deadly lava tile on sloped lava like that while on the right edge of a skull raft. (12:43) Yeah, the cape can easily make this part unwinnable. I think it would've been for the best if this section had a blue striped power up filter to force the player to be normal big instead, so that their power up state won't accidentally kill a vital enemy. (12:52) Chipmunk time. (14:04) More chipmunk time. (15:02) RIP reserve feather. Should've just let old SMBX crash there instead. :P (15:31) 22 is better than nothing at all. (16:10) Yes! Moon in the first growth spot! You've now gotten all five moons from the life farm at least once each!
