Now that you've had the bx22br, for a while, you should do an update/long term review. Sea hunt is the front runner for me when i purchase my next boat currently.

The bx22 is a hybrid gulf boat. Been 40 out catching snapper to 11 in limiting out on reds in the same day. I absolutely love mine.

Hey is there a website with any paraphernalia clothing with see you dude on it?

This may sound dumb. I’m in Tampa bay also. Have a seapro 208. How should I go about finding spots offshore? Do I just put around until I hopefully find good bottom or structure? Do you have any tips you can share? Boat is equipped with Simrad electronics if that matters. Do 99% of my fishing inshore and would love to get out when the weather is calm. Thanks!
@SeeYaDude2 жыл бұрын
The best technique I've used to find spots is to look online for public wreck or artificial reef numbers around your area (your simrad might already have some of these numbers programmed in it). I'll plug in a couple of these numbers and go check them out on calm days. The entire time I'm running to and from the public numbers, I'm keeping an eye on my sonar looking for any fish, rocks, ledges, etc. I'll mark a waypoint on anything that looks interesting and circle back to it. This way you at least have some public numbers to fish if you don't find anything new, but I've found a ton of spots using this technique. Hope that helps 👍

@@SeeYaDude do you ever use sidescan/downscan to find structure offshore?
@SeeYaDude2 жыл бұрын
Sidescan is a game changer when trying to find structure! To be able to see something on the bottom 50 feet to the side of you, be able to mark it on the simrad, and come back right over it is amazing

@@SeeYaDude awesome, we got a new boat recently and have a simrad Evo3, learned the hard way you need to buy an external heading sensor, also just got the 3 in 1 transducer to side & downscan. Can’t wait to put to use

3ft waves is pushing it in that boat. I do not like being in anything 2' or bigger, but you can make it happen if you need to
